Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Been garage kept since 1984 but was still started periodically everything runs rebuilt engine by my gpa n uncle years ago rebuilt transfer case it got 3 gears i beilive than like 3 different 4 ×4 4high 4low than extra 4low front n back pozzy track all original parts has the hubs with the two levers that pull out and spin to lock and unlock your hubs i know its at least considered to be in #4fair condition or #3 wich is little better than fair i got an updated clean title and everything serious inquires only pm me mainly need the cash but might barter for trades n cash the more i start putting into it the more its going to be worth i wish i could keep it but i am in a bind financially”

(11/26/2019) It runs, but still needs some work.
“I got this classic old flat-fender Jeep 16 months ago as a non-running project.
I’ve done a ton of work to it and now it runs.
It is still a project, but for someone else to finish.
The bottom line is I have a clear title and it runs down the road pretty good.
The stock 3 speed tranny shifts fine and the transfer case works good 2wd, 4wd hi, and 4wd lo.
The stock 4 cyl engine has 110-125 psi compression on all cylinders and runs great.
The tub has its fair share of rust holes.
The fenders, hood, and tailgate are in pretty good shape.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $8500.

It is for the person that wants to restore an old jeep. It has two fronts seats but not bolted down. It has a front windshield. No back seat. It also has the original tailgate. “1947 Willys CJ2A 4×4 runs and drives mileage unknown. Lots of new parts, new Steel tub bottom and LED brake lights, new rubber around windshield, new battery, Seats have thick foam bottoms and have been recovered. Go devil 4 cylinder engine T-90 transmission (original drivetrain). 4×4 works as it should. In pretty good shape overall. The front bumper is to mount a Warn 8274 winch. I have a TN title in hand. If you have any questions feel free to ask. The paint is bedliner coating.”

“The first 3 pics are the jeep as it sets now. The next one is as it was 4 years ago. The rest are during a restoration in 2015 that never got finished and of the hard top that has never been on it since my dad built it the first time 15 years ago. The motor was rebuilt in 2015 but rear main still leaked and the centermost head bolt wouldn’t tighten (Dad tried). The hard top windows are made out of polarized tinting plexiglass or something, they’re nice. All the seats etc. are still with it. Everything’s a little rougher since 2015. Clean title and tagged. Had a lot of fun driving this to bike rallies in 2006-2009 era.
The price is for the ’46 Willys, the hard top, the original motor, and a 4.3 Chevy V6 Dad had thought about putting in it. Not parting out top (very rare) or anything else separately at this time.
