This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 CJ2A with 289 4 speed trans. Engine runs and things shift like they are supposed to. With cab, seats are not original nor are they bolted down clean title not currently licensed. OBO I can send specific pictures if needed.”
This is an incomplete 2A. With three days to go the current bid price is $450. It’s listed as a 1948, but the grille suggests it is a 1946 or early 1947.

Has PTO with lift and governor underneath the hood. All original gauges, seats, top bow brackets, paint, wheels and tires. Truly a special rare restoration project.”

“Posting this ad to see if anyone is interested in taking over a CJ2A frame of restoration. Would be a terrific father/son project, which was my intent but my boy is too young right now. This project includes pretty much every single nut and bolt needed to build a CJ2A. I have probably invested over $13k in parts from various sources so my loss your gain. I have a 100% new body (most of it still in shipping bubble wrap), rolling frame and chassis, original engine, transmisssion, etc. Included is an entire trailer full of NEW IN BOX parts to go with this project. Wiring harnesses, rebuild kits, brakes, clutches, etc, etc, etc. Included in the deal is a fuel injected 4.3L vortec engine I was considering installing. The whole project is currently stored in my enclosed trailer so delivery could be potentially arranged depending on proximity. Clean title in hand. Looking for cash. Low ball offers and rude comments need not apply.”

“This jeep runs and drives . It has a 4.3 v-6 Chevy engine . 4- wheel drive works . Rear axel seal leaks one side not too bad , it’s original except for engine and paint job . Has new gas tank and Original wheels extra .the wheels on it are over size and has wheel spacers. Great project for someone that has time and money”
Not sure how much value is here. Includes what’s left of a Koenig hardtop, along with, at the very least, a front facing PTO and winch.

“A pair of 1947 willys cj2a jeeps for parts. NO TITLES. both tubs are pretty rough and rust in the floors. One frame is in decent shape. Axles seem to be good. Decent fenders, grilles, and a bunch of other parts. No engines/transmissions/transfer cases. Plenty of good parts here. Would like to sell as a pair. Also have some aluminum old Jeep/ford 5-5 1/2 pattern wheels that will go with them. Being sold as parts only. Located in Lewiston Idaho, asking $500 for the pair OBO. Possible trades, what ya got?
