Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3900.
The seller is selling the jeep with the trailer. The jeep has an overdrive. It appears to be a 1948 CJ-2A that someone tried to turn into a CJ-3B.
“Up for sale is a 7×16 tandem axle trailer, has loading ramp, electric jack, tool box, surge breaks and a free 1948 Willy Jeep. The Jeep is a 1948 with a 326 Pontiac GTO engine, has Warn underdrive, The Jeep needs a lot of work but the trailer could be work ready very easily.”

UPDATE: Price dropped to $6500. Looks like it was repainted from yellow to whatever color is now on it.

“selling my cj2a project to fund other projects i have going on.
new master cly
new wheel clys all 4 corners.
new brake lines.
new leafsprings shackles and shocks along with all bushings.
frame was cleaned and coated with a under coating.
rebuilt carb.
engine runs very well.
trans and transfer case leak oil but work fine. doesn’t pop out of second like most of them.
runs and drives pretty well. will lock up all 4 if you slam the brakes.
body has rust. floors and all body mounts are patched. couple spots on the side of the tub but not bad. worst is the corners of the windshield
seats are cj2a bottoms with what looks like cj5 frames on top of them.”

Might have an f-head.

It has good tires runs great with a v6 engine duel excuse.
Has glass and a top shade.
Great for any age.
Has a clean title.
Need some work like tail lights bulbs/switch.”
