Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks to be in beautiful shape. Has some minor updates.
“Up for sale is a very nice 1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep. It has been taken down to the bare frame and rebuilt from the ground up. It runs and drives well. I believe the drive train to be the original. Since it ran so well, the motor wasn’t rebuilt but was mostly disassembled for cleaning, gaskets and paint. The transmission and transfer case were both disassembled and rebuilt. The rear end was partially disassembled, re gasketed, painted and reassembled. The body was completely disassembled, all signs of rust were repaired.”

It’s missing the steps and the drain holes are filled. Looks in good shape otherwise.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
“Selling a Jeep Willys CJ2A. As you can see from the pictures, it does not run. The motor does turn by hand and the transmission/transfer case seems to shift like it should. The body is mostly rusted. The grill is solid. With the Jeep comes 2 spare axles, 1 front with manual locking hubs and 1 rear. Also I have another steering box and quite a bit of other small parts. I believe it may be a 1948. Selling as is, no title. Text for any more information. Thanks. Asking $1000 OBO. Make me an offer.”
