About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This still has the bow holders stowed correctly on the driver’s side. Too bad it doesn’t have the one across the windshield. It also has a rear PTO. Someone save this jeep!
“Project Car. tons of parts but no title only bill of sale”
“1947 Jeep CJ2A starts and drives has been garaged for a long time Better shape than most. yes there are some patches on the Tub floor There is a 6 foot plow and a half top with doors still needs some work, Smoking after years of sitting in the garage”
“For sale is a bundle of Willys Jeeps. Included is a 1948 CJ2A runner, and a 1947 CJ2A for spare parts.
The story goes on the 1948 it was owned by a WWII vet who drove it around town. It was last registered in 2007. As seen in the pictures the body was patched over, but done very well, now sitting in primer and is nearly ready for paint (which was my original plan, but the list of projects has gotten longer). My goal was to create a reliable turn-key Jeep ready to drive. Below you can see a long list of the work/parts that went into this vehicle. I also have a clear Indiana title in my name. It has the “hotrod” Kaiser Supersonic engine which is a traditional Willys Go-Devil with a milled down head for extra horsepower. Yes it sounds like a gimmick, but after driving down the road I couldn’t stop laughing at the power vs the standard engine. Oil pressure is at a very healthy 40 lbs. Continue reading →
The jeep has some good jeeping updates. Has rear floaters with hubs.

(06/28/2016) Still needs some wiring completed. The data plate might read “1945”, but I don’t see anything else that indicates it was a 1945.
“up for sale is a rare 1945 willys cj2a. there was only 1824 of these built. there is only 30 of the 1945 cj2a left according to jeep magizine . After WWII was over willys had 1824 of these left that didnt go to the war so they decided to convert them to civilian jeep which is where the (CJ) came from! they produced two colors that year harvest tan and green.

“1947 CJ2A Serial Number CJ2A139867
Clean California title. Located in Reno Nevada.
It was being disassembled for a restoration that never finished. 134L engine was rebuilt several years ago but never installed. 85-90% major components are present. No seat frames. I found 1 hole in the original tub below where the fuel tank sits. Very minor body dents and dings. Serial number tag still present on the frame. Listing for a friend.
