This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (01/18/2016) The steps are gone and the drain hole on the passenger side has been filled.

(08/15/2015) This has an unusual rollcage. The jeep still needs some work.
“We are no longer firmly asking what a Willys CJ2A in this nice condition is worth at $4,700. But, with being in urgent need to get items sold for unexpected financial expenses, we are willing to consider any reasonable offers and will consider trade from partial to full.
We have owned this CJ2A for about 7 years and put a total of about 50 miles on it. When we bought it we thought about doing an extensive restoration as that is our side line business of restoring old trucks and Jeeps.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3200.
Hasn’t run in a few years.
“Ran and drove when parked in garage 3 years ago. 4 wheel drive works as well. Converted to 12 volt system. Body is very clean and is fully complete. Its a very fun and good project. I’m posting this for my dad. He’s selling because I have one we are restoring and don’t really have time for a second one. Any questions just text or call. $3200 OBO. Spare parts jeep included if you can haul it off with this one.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1900.
Needs work of some kind.
“1947 Jeep Willy **** This classic has a 1976 Buick V-6 231 engine. Needs some work and would be a great project for somebody with the time. Has clean title. Asking $2900.00 obo or will consider a trade for a fishing/Bass type boat.”

“1948 Willys Jeep CJ-2A all original restored Flathead-4 “GoDevil” engine, rebuilt transmission and transfer case, new fuel pump, new master cylinder. Needs a wiring harness, runs and drives great.”

“I have a 1943 Ford GPW & a 1948 CJ2A for sale. Titles for both. Been over 5 years since either has been running. The 43 Ford was driveable when I bought it 6 years ago. It is complete with wrong engine-has 60’s model 4 cyl. Tub needs replaced-bondo.
The 48 CJ needed a transmission which I have replaced but is missing rear drive shaft. Has original flat head 4 cyl engine which was running 6 years ago. Floor needs replaced in tub.”
