This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1948 CJ2A for sale. The tub and interior are in great condition. Has a strong running small block Ford V8. New exhaust including headers. New motor mounts from advanced adapters. Drives great but does need new drive lines because of repositioning of engine. Can be driven as is but doesn’t have front drive line so no four wheel drive. Will work perfect once drive lines are replaced (should only be a couple hundred for custom ones to be built do to being so short.) Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.”

Seller lists as a 1950 CJ-2A, but obviously one of those facts is incorrect.

“I have decided to sell my “Ol’ Willys” CJ-2a. It’s in running/driving condition.for a 67 year old vehicle. It was “shade -tree” restored several years ago,always garaged,never driven in winter the twelve years I have had it. Has newer brakes,lines,battery other misc. stuff. Comes with complete canvas top w/doors. Like I said it runs/drives/stops/and goes. Engine could use freshening up,or drive it as-is…smokes a little and carb needs rebuild.
