This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 Willies Jeep lots of upgrades. Clean California Title. Needs a steering column and a radiator as the project was never completed. The engine was running before starting the overhaul. “It runs drives and stops, I’ve had it a couple years and just got it up and going. It’s pretty fun just looking for something different. Got some extra parts I never put on also and will send all the original parts taken off. No Tailgate
The good: New Front leaf springs New Fuel Tank, Carburetor, fuel lines, sending unit New Tie rod ends New Tires New Master Cylinder
What needs done: Brakes need adjusted better than what I can do The headlight switch needs put on for them to work Speedometer doesn’t work, but I have a cable for it Fuel Gauge works just doesnt have the face plate Runs fairly well just had an oil change, it does sputter a bit. It does have some rust on the underside of the body, but nothing on the frame.”

“Nice original 1950 Willys CJ3A Farm Jeep. Jeep has rear pto with shield, novi governor, ag weight. Even has the original head lights. Jeep is not running but engine turns over and transmission/transfer case shift freely. Jeep comes with top bows and seat frame, but monroe lift parts in back are being sold separately.
I have a nice repairable CJ3A tub available in another ad that would compliment this project nicely.”

“I’m moving out of state and am looking for someone that would be willing to take over my project. Read description and see the last photos!!! This 1950 Willys CJ3A has been in my possession for the past 5 years. I have bought it with intention of rebuilding it from ground up. It has been disassembled to the last bolt, frame has been blasted and painted using rust encapsulating paint. Bumpers installed. Axles, transmission, transfer case disassembled, cleaned, painted, ready to be put together. Original engine, L134, has not been touched and is not turning over even by hand. Cylinders have been soaking in WD40 for the past few years. It is all there except: fenders, one rim, seat frames, fuel tank, steering wheel. Clean title! Everything is in storage in Schiller Park and would have to be picked up from there. Let me know should you have any specific questions. I have a lot of photos from disassembly process.”

“1949 CJ3a willy jeep. This jeep is turn key ready. Whole new wiring harness with turn signals added. Converted from 6v to 12v, has step-down starter. Will come with the original 6v parts (6v needs rebuild). Body off restoration. Steps are now installed. Engine professionally rebuild. New radiator.Starts, stops, shifts great, on tubeless tires, original engine and drive train. Has front manual hubs, 4w works. New gauges and exhaust system. Seats are high dens memory foam with pocketed canvas covers. Hot Water heater refurbished and works. Installed seat belts. Have receipts. Have pink in my name in hand, and tags paid for the year, smog exempt.”
