Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has had a makeover since it was last listed in December.
“1951 Jeep CJ3A w/new rebuilt engine….and many newly rebuilt parts (starter, generator, carburetor). New wiring, hoses, belts, battery cable, seats, fuel pump, transmission floor cover plate, etc. Cleaned and refurbished fuel tank. This is a very good “WEST COAST” Desert mountain truck that has no rust/cancer. Yes….OD paint, but that’s all…..tires are in very good condition. Includes spare mt. & tire. Runs great!!.”
Looks like it has some parts value. Lacks a floor. Seller believes it is an M-38A1.

(06/29/2016) “Have a old military CJ2a flat fender Willis Jeep. It’s rough but great for original parts and it’s all there. The axles motor tranny t case wheels hood grill.. maybe a few parts off the motor like a carb and some old hoses but it was a great piece to collect. Sadily I’m getting out of heels and into airplanes so I’m selling my jeep stuff. Jeep tub and frame is rusted”
