Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “The motor is a 350 with a 400 crank in it Holley street dominator intake . Dana 18 transfer case . 4speed tran . 44″ super swamper , 6 hole wide aluminum center line looking wheels . It needs a little work on the frame , and hydraulic steering. Great project! Runs great!”

“Willy’s flatfender project. Has 4.3 TBI crate motor low miles when pulled from donor vehicle. Advanced Adapters motor mounts and headers. Brand new aluminum radiator. Two sm465 manual 4speeds Dana 18 with warn overdrive. Lift, confer shackles, 31 inch cooper discovers with no miles. Roll cage kit that needs assembled. Aluminum hard top. This body has an M-38A1 rear and maybe a 3A(?) cowl. It’s listed as a 46 in one location and a 43 in another.

(04/01/2015) Another example of a flat tie front cowl blended onto a CJ-5 body. For kicks it has a MB?GPW windshield.
