Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s project that may be worth a look. Has a mix of M-38 and 2A parts.
“Selling my 53 cj3a Willys it’s a pretty clean jeep but does need to be finished I had the original motor rebuilt by Clifton park engine rebuilders that cost $1900 and have receipt was running and driving good shifts good good transfer case motor needs to be finished its in the jeep just needs water pump distributer etc have all parts to finish cones with next to new top and doors too $4000”

“52 willys cj3 fuel infected small block ford v8, arb air lockers front and rear 4.56 gears, 4 wheel disk breaks, new 36″ superswampers, 4 speed, Dana 300 transfer case, chrome moly axles. This was used as a toy and can be taken to moab or a Rubicon trail today there are some dents that can be seen in the pictures asking”

“1950 Willys CJ3A and 1951 Willys CJ3A for Sale! The original Jeep!
The CJ3A was the second Jeep in line after WWII, preceded by the CJ2A. It’s a wonderful amount of fun, go-anywhere (not too fast!) vehicle that is guaranteed to be fun and turn heads.
Unfortunately I have too many other projects, so I have to send these two out the door. ONLY INTERESTED IN PACKAGE DEAL. Both have to go!
1951 Willys CJ3A, running then I pulled the original tub (still have it for template, needs some sheet metal work, but saveable). See pic of green jeep, thats her before I pulled the body. All original, 6V electrical, classic is great shape for the age. Needs tub replaced or repair the original.
1950 Willys CJ3A rolling chassis with brand new replacement tub. FULL FRAME-OFF RESTORATION COMPLETE! I just don’t have the time to finish the body… New body included, “Willys” stamped just like the originals. Beautiful restoration and rebuild job, everything from the 6V generator to differentials to steering gears to engine to transmission and T/C completely rebuilt. New tires with zero miles. Put the body on and paint it, and you’re rolling.
Both are registered rolling chassis with titles in hand, VINTAGE 1950 and 1951 PLATES INCLUDED. The bodys are NOT mounted, that’s yours to do.
I have all the original shop manuals, research books, simply too many extras to list, come by and see for yourself.”
