About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“953 Willys CJ3A Jeep, new paint and upholstery. 12 volt conversion on a great running L134 cubic inch 4 cylinder engine, 3 speed standard transmission shift good and the 4 wheel drive works well also. The floor pan and the inside panels have been rhino lined and the jeep has 5 new Goodyear tires. Has a tow bar also. A lot of attention to detail was put into this jeep. For $9100 OBO you could own a piece of history that will go just about anywhere.”
“This jeep has no title but is restorable and the data tags are all there so a bonded title would be cheap and easy. The body needs floors but is doable. It comes with a rollbar and a hard to find koenig hardtop and stock heater. Feel free to email with any questions or pics.”
“1949 Willys CJ3A this rig has a lot of work done to it. It has a Ford SB 302 CID V8, rebuilt carburetor, new starter and alternator, power steering, electric fan and fuel pump, points converted distributor, relocated oil filter, custom headers, Flowmaster mufflers. The drive line is setup very nice T90 3 speed transmition(new clutch), T18 transfer case, Warn Saturn overdrive so it has 12 forward and 4 reverse gears, New U joints, Dane 25 front axle, offset Dana 44 rear axle with a locker. New 35x 12.50 15 BF Goodwrench KM2 on black spoke steel wheels. It has been lifted with 2.5in Rancho leaf springs and a spring over conversion. New fuel cell and gages, 8000lbs winch, two fuel cans and mounts. I have a few extra parts that I just haven’t had the time to install yet. So as you can see this is a very capable trail rig. Just about all the custom work on this was done or redone correctly by me. Asking $5000 OBO. If you have any questions please ask.”
“I have for sale 2 willys jeeps. The blue jeep is a 1952 cj3a with a “CLEAN TITLE” . It runs great and has brakes. The frame is in excellent shape and the drive train is completely operational. All this jeep needs is a new body and some wiring and it would make a great jeep. I have personally drove this jeep down the road and it drives great and seems reliable for a willys of this age. This is a second owner jeep. The red jeep is a 1948? and I have “NO TITLE” for this jeep. It has no engine but does have the transmission and transfer case. It is a parts jeep only. It does have a great looking radiator and some other great parts on it. I am selling them as a package deal. They are both being sold in “AS IS” condition with “NO WARRANTY”. The jeeps are being sold locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I am asking $2000.00 OBO locally for both ,no reasonable offer refused. You may look at the jeeps by appointment. 443-553-2712 my name is Mike. Good luck bidding.”
UPDATE: This was no price. Now it is $5000. The text is new, too, including the part about the owners have put $20,000 into rebuilding it. I’m just not seeing where that money went in this picture.
“The current owners are looking to sell their 1952 Jeep “Willy”. It is in driving condition, no rust, and has had $20,000 put into rebuilding it. They are asking $5,000 for it and are looking for someone who appreciates and understands the Jeep, so please no lower offers. The Jeep is more meant for back road fun with the family or hunting and not meant for daily use or young drivers.”
