This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/03/2013) Motor is stuck.
“1951 WILLY’S JEEP IT IS EITHER A CJ2A OR CJ3A, NOT REALLY SURE. MOTOR IS STUCK.IT HAS A FLATHEAD 4CYL, ALREADY CHANGED TO 12V, HAS SEARS LOCKOUT HUBS. BACK YARD FIND. HAVE NOT TOUCHED IT, HAS BEEN SETTING FOR YEARS.WOULD BE GREAT FOR HUNTING OR JUST TO RESTORE FOR THE WILLY’S FANS OUT THERE. I DO HAVE THE TITLE. ASKING 1350.00 OBO.”
It appears solid and it runs. It might be a good price.

This has a fiberglass body.

I just spotted this in-process auction. It ends tomorrow (12/4). I don’t know if the jeep has been auctioned yet or not. The jeep has been changed a little. It could be a mis-titled 3A.

This is listed as a ’56.
“When I baught the jeep it was running. I decided to rebuild the motor and restore it. Didnt get to far and had to quit. It has very little rust its good and solid. I think motor and drive train are original. The fenders are in the back.”
