About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I’m thinking this is a CJ-3A with a replacement body, hence the solid tub.
“For sale 1950 Willys CJ3A, clean title, has some surface rust but is not rusted through anywhere (no cancer). I bought it as a CJ3A, but this might be a first generation M38, it has military seats, military bumpers, a glove compartment (only m38 had it, not the civilian version), a military hard top. The engine runs smooth, was rebuilt less than 3,000 miles ago by the last owner. It has the original L134 “Go-Devil” 4 cyl engine, original transmission and transfer. Runs good, all stock except for tires, wheels, and a couple of aftermarket gauges. Top speed of 45-50 mph. This is a great daily driver as it sits or you could make a great restoration project out of it. Selling because I have too many toys and have to downsize the fleet before my new son/daughter is born. $4300 OBO, not interested in trades.”

Between the top and the tires/rims there is value.

The frame has some cracks, but the seller has a CJ-5 frame to replace it.
“Looking to sell my vintage willys jeep
Specs:
Clean clear LA title
225 buick v6- does run, but would most likely need the carb cleaned as it has not been cranked in a couple years, I believe the drivetrain was transplanted from a cj5 and it has power steering of some sort on it- has a holley 390cfm 4 barrrel with aluminum 4 barrel intake, also have carter 2 barrel and adapter plate for it
It has 31″ swampers (tires in pics are not what is on it now) on white spokes, full cage that I would personally change up some, body shell seems sold floors have been re-sheeted.
It is a project and I bought it for such and have a lot of stuff that will go with it. It needs the brake and fuel lines ran properly and you could actually drive it like it is. The frame has a couple cracks, as they are prone to, but I have a cj5 frame that I was going to swap it over to, or you could repair he cracks and leave it as it is. Comes with cj5 frame, 2 sets of spare axles, 2-3 spare transmissions and transfer cases, 12 gal alum fuel cell and yj poly tank (choose which one you want to install), new plastic race seats with covers and sliders, a box of misc extras and I am sure more that I cant think of.
I want $1600 and have quite a bit more than that in it. It really doesnt need any money put in it, just some time, would make a great winter project for this year and put it on the trails in the spring and have under $2000 in a driving rig. Comes with everything I have associated with it and do not want to sell parts. If no interest, i will leave it sitting under the shed until I get the time to play with it.”
