The seller notes this has “all new everything”, but that’s certainly not the case. This includes a rear PTO.

“1950 cj3a This jeep was brought down to bare frame and fully restored. The frame was perfect just sandblasted and painted no patches. All new everything. Left it original 6volt rebuilt starter and generator, new wiring, guages work. Has rear PTO. As you see in the pictures I couldn’t bring myself to redo the tailgate perfect patina. Very nice jeep just in time for summer.

Hugo lives in Uruguay and has spent four years restoring this CJ-3A (see a report from 2011 here). As you can see from the pictures, he started with a pretty rough vehicle. As the pictures demonstrate, he seems to be enjoying the results of his hard work. Thanks for sharing Hugo.

(05/12/2012) This looks like a very nice jeep.  Based on the location of the gas inlet in the back, I’m going to guess this started life as a DJ-3A.

(03/05/2013) This seller is buying this along with another car and doesn’t need it. This includes a rear PTO, Drum, and Saw.

“This is a nice car, it looks great!!

The car has had a lot of work done, and it runs well. It was owned by a mechanic who was able to give it TLC. The tires are new. This is not a rust bucket. I took some a pictures up close of a surface rusted area which is minor on RH side.

The car is with a Cadillac and I have to buy the pair, I am a Caddy guy and want to move this one.

Steering arm & box rebuilt from GM Saginaw off a 78 Suburban.  REAR AXLE  Dana 44 Summers Brothers one piece SAE4340 advertised to withstand 1400 ft pounds torque.  DIFFERENTIAL Reider Racing Power-Lock.  REAR BRAKES 11” X 2″ drum from Drive Train Whse.  ENGINE Custom built by SFD Engines of Dallas.  330 HP &423 foot lbs torque @3300 rpm.  355ci, 4 bolt main small block Chev, Flat top hypereutectic pistons, Total Seal moly rings.  Comp Cams “off road” high torque cam.
