Probably not much value here, but I’m sure it was fun in it’s day.

The pictures show the jeep is all together, but from the seller’s comments I think it is still apart?

Needs new rear axle. Otherwise, doesnt’ sound like a bad price. I think this is a CJ-3A (NOT A CJ-1.. lol)
“it has a fully rebuilt v-6 in it with brand new cooper all-terrain tires levaling kit, good paint job,new bucket seats, roll bar,all new wireing, runs perfect, the bad is that it needs a new rear axle but othee than that it is in very good condition for it’s age, thanks danny 541-855-1473”
This is a nice looking CJ-3A. I swear I’ve seen it before, but a search through all my 154 1951 CJ-3A pictures didn’t yield anything.
” 1951 JEEP WILLYS – Chevy 350 eng, nice wheels & 32″ tires, good condition, $5,500 obo or trade for small pickup. Phone 805-451-8574″

This appears in pretty good stock shape. There’s a few small dings, but nothing obvious appears wrong.
“1951 Willys CJ3A original body rust free California vehicle. 95k miles some restoration has been done runs and drives well has never seen a New England winter always garaged $5000.00, exceptional condition Call Jim at 603-765-6905”
“1950 Willys Jeep, have doors and windshield, all parts are there, includes a ramsey pto winch.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2500
It appears there’s been a good deal of work done on it.
“This is a early 1950’s Willys Jeep with almost complete restoration. The jeep was stripped to the frame and rebuilt from the ground up. It just needs a few things to finish (radiator, wiring, seats). This was my project 4 years ago and just do not have time to finish it. Please email me at hand@my180.net”
UPDATE: This was $85,000 for the whole collection. I have found some related craigslist ads. See them below.
I’ve found a couple references to the sale of this collection. Anyone know more? Based on the pic to the right, these don’t appear in great condition. My guess is that this is over priced.
Here is a link to another reference at Hemmings, where I found the pic to the right.
Here’s a link to Hemmings that reads “WILLYS: elderly WW II veteran has vintage Jeep collection, 40s-60s, both military and civilian, must sell, best offer.”

CRAIGSLIST ADS RELATED TO ABOVE:
1946 CJ-2A $4995
This one looks perfectly find. The price doesn’t seem that outrageous.
“1946 Willys C-J2A spruce green all original condition, partially restored with new canvas removable top – runs and drives – $4,995”
1948 CJ-2A $11,500
This one doesn’t look like it is in great condition. There’s no reason to think it is worth $11,500.
“1948 Willys C-J2A signal red fully restored and in great condition – $11,500– Firm”
The seller says the winch is a PTO, but that looks like a Warn winch to me? Looks like some rust in the steps.
“either a cj2a or cj3a, has artic top, everything seems to be original. motor looks rebuilt. its been in the family for 12 years. has what i think is called an artic top, has pto winch.have title, email with any questions”
That roll bar just isn’t working for me. I’m a sucker for the old slot aluminum rims, as many of you know.
“Nice old Jeep, lots of work done, needs a little more… Can’t get all the pics to load, come by & see it at 6653 Mallard St, San Diego, Ca 92114. (619) 264-1940”
