This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This jeep looks rough. The front clip appears to be tilting down a bit. The wheels looks good.
“1950 Jeep Willys, 3 spd, v6, extra rollbar, extra set of wheels,working heater, brand new soft top that cost 1600. This jeep is all old school! it is a blast in the snow and mud, it just doesn’t quit! I really hate to get rid of it, but I have other hobbies and not enough time. Someone is really going to have some fun in this jeep”

Here’s a nice looking CJ-3A (though this would benefit from a different hood design).

I’m not sure what’s wrong with this jeep, but it looks pretty good for only $850.

Yeah, the body isn’t a pretty picture. But, the drive train sounds like it might have potential.
“A 1951 Willys jeep no title runs like a champ comes with 3 sets of tires and wheels all kinds of spare parts including heads axle shafts axle housings engine block… actualy 1 or 2 enginges that were stripped down the frame is straight and it is solid!! the body on the other hand has seen better days as far as i know it was last on the road in 1972 and been sitting behind a barn until a few years ago when the guy i bought it from got it running and used it to plow his driveway…the jeep came with the house he bought”

These hunting jeeps from Texas crack me up. They are certainly unique, each one of them.
“I have a 1965 Willys jeep that is set up for hunting. It has gun racks, bow racks,air drive feeder, adjustable winch w/lights, game basket and much more. Runs good, I am asking $2600 or best offer, I would also consider trade for 250 or larger four stroke dirt bike. Please call with any questions. Thanks.”

1951 CJ-3A: Interesting paint job
“I am selling a 1951 Willys CJ3A jeep. The jeep looks to be all original except for the front and rear axle and a few other small parts. It has the ww2 jeep axles under it. The jeep’s body is in good shape and since there has been a hard top on it for years there is vary little rust. No gone through rust in the floor. The engine looks like it may have been rebuilt, it runs good and strong, the carburetor will need to be rebuilt because it needs to be choked for it to run good. The jeep has the original foot starter…”
No drive train.

There’s a knock in the engine, but otherwise this might be a pretty good jeep. The pics aren’t great, but it looks like there have been suspension and frame upgrades.
“beautiful willys the only thing is is that it has a knock in the motor and have not started it in over a yeear and a half but a awesome jeep have a full soft top and doors and a bikini top but no half doors looking for a nice boat for the lake this summer/nice fishing boat/old car /nice road bike or crotch rocket/nice jet ski or two / or let me know what ya got”
David and his friends transport themselves back in time each each fall by getting out their jeeps, heading to the woods, and cleaning brush, trees and other obstacles out of the way in preparation for winter snowmobiling in New York.
David’s owned his (the gray ’51 CJ-3A) for six years. His friends have owned their 1947 CJ-2A and 1949 CJ-3A for about 25 years. Thanks for sharing David.
