Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Spring is here and a lot of us are getting our projects out and about.
There are so many great Willys / Jeep vendors that support our community I would like to share a few to put them back at the top of the list.

| Willys CJ3B Jeep.
I bought this Jeep last summer to have another Jeep for running around the property. Wasn’t expecting it to be a project and I don’t have spare time to work on it. Pros- Engine was just fully rebuilt before I bought it. Holley Sniper fuel injection makes it easy to start and seems to run great. Chassis and frame appear restored, believe new suspension components. Super rare cab that I understand has been on it since the Forest Service bought it. Interior is new, and it has a nice heater that puts out good heat. Cons- There is a whine when driving, have been told it may be from the transfer case. Front drive shaft is missing and the parking brake cable is broken. Paint is flaking here and there. Could use a new windshield and glass. Expensive LED headlights but not my style. |

| This is my abandoned Willys flat fender pickup project I started forever ago. This was a CJ3B tub that I sectioned to 2B/3B height, and chopped into a pick up cab. It is sitting on a CJ2A frame that’s been stretched 12″ and fully boxed. Brand new (several years ago, anyway) Rancho 2.5″ rear springs on all 4 corners. The best part? It has a 1970-71.5 (I believe?) Offset, flanged Dana 44, which is highly sought after. Come and check it out. |

| Yes it’s available.Willys rolling chassis. Willys 1950’s CJ3A frame with a Cj5 Dana 30 front and Dana44 full floating rear end. Both with Dana Power lok lockers and 488 gears. Has 2″ lifted springs. These axles were built about 20 years ago by a friend of mine for his mud racing cj3b jeep project. He used a combination of new and used parts. The project was never finished and I picked them up from him for my cj2a project but also never used them. I opened them up for the pictures and replaced the gear oil when I closed them back up. Chassis and axles have been sandblasted epoxy primed and painted black. They could probably be used as is but they do need brake parts. Since they have been sitting for so long it would probably be a good idea to go through them to insure any kind of longevity.Being sold as pictured. | Arctic top maybe?? For a flatfender willys 2A, 3A, 3B, M38? Not certain. No doors or rear hatch. Good condition. Look at pics. Bottom edge torn in some spots. This came on an M38A1. I did not realize it was for an earlier jeep until I installed the M38a1 windshield. Those making the comments that its worthless without the special windshield frame please stop sniffing gear oil. 350.00 obo or trade. Pick up |
