About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“The elderly man we purchased the Jeep from said he purchased it new . The title had a date of 1978 , we suspect the state may have made one update the titles when they changed their system . In fact when we went to change ownership , it took the state two months to locate the paper work required . I have a copy of the 78 title . The vehicle runs and drives , though it will require a thorough going over . I cannot see any rust holes in the floor boards , there are a few spots that are rusted through in the rear body panel where dirt has collected . A New Mexico car from new is my understanding . It has typical surface rust . Someone did change the color from Green to Red on the outside . You buy the red Jeep , the white Jeep is free along with the extra engine sitting in the bed of white Jeep . No title with white Jeep . Contact me with your number and the best time to call .”
“1954 Willys CJ3B Jeep with 1/4 ton army trailer. Total frame off rebuild in 2005 including new body. All mechanical parts rebuilt or replaced including engine overhaul, re cored radiator, new gears in transmission and transfer case as needed, and both differentials inspected.
Upgrades include 12V alternator electrical system, Auto Meter all electric gauges, 11″ brakes with braided stainless lines, sprayed bed liner inside and under the body, and an 8000 lb PTO front mounted winch.
I’m disabled and unable to use it, so it’s been sitting in the shed for a few years and will need some clean up. I will answer all questions.”
This jeep has a CJ-5 grafted onto CJ-3B cowl. So, it isn’t mostly stock.
“I have a 53 cj3b for sale. It does run, but needs a tune-up. Original motor, jeep is mostly stock. This is a project jeep, it has some rust and dings”
“1963 CJ3B High hood Willy’s Jeep. Powered by a good running ford small block 302. Its a little ruff, but with a little tlc it’ll be perfect. The only thing this rig needs is a new throw out bearing and some new tires to be back on the road again. Clear title and keys (key rather) $2,500 as is, if it doesn’t sell before I fix what’s wrong with it and clean it up then the price will go up to reflect said work. (719) 359-2029 Serious inquiries ONLY!!! If the posting is still up then I still have it.”

This seller calls this a M606 styled CJ-3B. It appears in good shape.
“Very nice, original unrestored 1964 Willys CJ3B in the service skin of the Vietnam war period. These jeeps (last of the Willys Flat Fenders) were sent by the hundreds to Vietnam They were not used tactically by the U.S but in security roles and staff duty vehicles in garrison around Saigon ect.
This vehicle in in very authentic configuration as the 3Bs put into service during that war.
Original condition with no rust or rust repairs ever..
The 134 F head motor powers this vehicle, transfer case and lockouts operate perfectly. There is a chipped tooth on the 1st/reverse gear that makes
a noise in 1st and reverse but does not effect the performance of the vehicle.
It has a military canvas top and windshield cover.
I am the 3rd owner, the 2nd owner was the original owners son who took possession of the vehicle only 4 years ago just before I purchased it.”
