This CJ is among the last of the Willys branded ever made. There has been 3 owners in its lifetime. The Jeep was redone in the early 80s by the second owner. I got this Jeep 6 years ago.
This is a project.
I am roughly 60-70% done with it. I rebuilt the engine, transmission, transfer case, both differentials, upgraded the brakes (everything new), painted the frame with rust inhibiting paint, and a few other thing here and there.

What need to be done to finish this project is to finish installing some of the drive-line components, steering parts would need to be replaced ($15 for a tie rod end), cooling system installed, some bodywork, and the electrical system.

The body is rough, however replacement bodies are available. the hardtop is solid and all glass is in good shape.

I have almost everything one would need to finish this project, and all will go with.

This CJ is a rare find. It would be a perfect project for someone just getting into working on cars and trucks as a hobby, or someone who would lake to make it into an off road toy (as I was doing) This Jeep has a clear title and would be easy to get it back on the road. Parts new and used for these Jeeps are readily available.”

UPDATE:  This is now on eBay was listed for $3999 on Craigslist.

(07/17/2012) The seller notes that this is in great original condition.  It looks solid and while there is lots of original jeep here, the drain holes have been plugged and it appears from the pictures that the front and lower sides have been painted differently than the rear portion of the body.  I suspect there has been some body work done.

SEATS HAVE BEEN RECOVERD WITH REAR SEAT/LOCKABLE STORAGE UNIT ADDED. GREAT CONDITION. BODY IS ORIGINAL STEEL WITH NO PATCHING, HAS SOFT TOP AND DOORS, HEATER. ALL GUAGES WORK, LIGHTS WORK ETC. ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, STEERING, BRAKES, GENERATOR, TRANSFER CASE HAVE ALL BEEN REBUILT AND EVRYTHING WORKS. RIGHT NOW IT’S RUNNING RICH BECAUSE I REMOVED THE CARB. AND ADJUSTED IT, BUT I’M NOT A PRO SO I AM STILL WORKING ON THAT. OTHERWISE IT PURRS.”

“All steal beautiful 100% rust free body. All modification’s were professionally done. 425 HP small block Chev V8, 4 bolt main, big rods and forged high compression piston’s, GM performance unstamped angle plug camel hump ported heads ($2800.00), Edelbrock “Scorpion” intake and 750 Holley carb, full roller motor, complete MSD ignition, Moroso 7qt oil pan, fender dump headers, complete functioning nitros system (runs optional), lots of bolt on polished stuff also (alternator, valve covers, air cleaner, etc.). Top Loader 4spd with Hurst linkage and new 12″clutch, flywheel and pressure plate. New front and rear drive lines. Dana 60 rear end, Dana 44 front, both lockers with 4.10 gears. Looped drive line, strapped rear end. New shocks. Dutchman axles ,4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, chrome tilt steering column and wood Chev steering wheel. Dana 20 Twin stick transfer case with billet shifters. Painless wiring and switch box, Sun gauges including tach, New wipers, heater box, gas tank, optima battery and aluminum rear mounted box, all lighting is new. New full roll cage. Bentley gave us a heads up on this.  There is a CJ-3B in parts, a CJ-2a, a VEC CJ-2A (mistakenly identified by the auctioneer as a military jeep), and a ton of parts and tools.  The VEC is particularly interesting as it appears to have full floating hubs, so it might be very VEC.
