About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
A different Tim shared this great color photo of a nice CJ-3B that was used by the Frontier Nursing Service.
The Frontier Nursing Service was founded in 1925 by Mary Breckinridge and they were pretty amazing how they served rural Kentucky communities. Horses and eventually Jeeps were used extensively to support their outreach efforts.
The background of the service can be watched here it’s really an amazing story of how people coming together can make a huge impact for so many generations of families. Talk about Horse Power!
Another good shot of the small Model and Larger S/N for the Data Plate that looks legit for screws and location. Neat Half Cab set up.
Information from seller:
1953 Willy’s CJ-3B The motor was stuck when I got it. It’s free now with a hone job and new rings. The valve seats were cleaned up as well. I have a 12v starter in it but the ignition is still 6V. (Two batteries) It runs and drives and stops ok. May need some carb work. I have some parts to go with it. Decent body for the age. Floors were replaced before I got it. Have to many Willy’s projects this one needs to go. No title
Not much details on this one in the way of pictures.
Information from seller:
Runs and drives, new exhaust, lock out hubs, 12 volt conversion, 1 wire chrome alternator, new clutch pressure plate, new steering gear, new rear main seal. Rare Jeep hard top.
Here are some BAT Willys Auctions that took place over the past few months. I think it’s good to keep an eye on the Market some folks are on top of this much more then I am, but I think its good to share a pic and some results, I left out some so head over and check out all the details on these.
Auctions can often miss classify the rig, so these are their names and years, good or bad.
Here are some Willys that have passed over the block at BAT recently.
3B, still don’t see a ton of 3B’s up for grabs. New Tub and some other stuff, so not original. But some nice parts here, something to consider.
Information from seller:
1953 flat fender high hood. New MB tub, all new disc brake system, new 17″ wheels and tires. 12 volt system, new fuel tank and electric fuel pump, new seats, lunchbox differential front and rear, electric ignition, F head engine that runs good, new springs w/2.5″ lift, and new shocks
I can see this one, I would have to reverse the SOA, but that’s just me. V6.
Information from seller:
1953 Willy’s CJ3B Jeep Have a lot of parts, have all the drive train, been apart for years, was for my uncle he passed. Bill of sale only. Asking $2,000 OBO
Don’t see a ton of 3B’s, see even less if you live in the USA now a days but one day maybe we will see more again.
Price is a driver on this one as well, you should diversify your collection either way.
Cool looking ride.
Information from seller:
Hey guys selling my 1966 Jeep CJ-3 I bought it as a project and haven’t really had much time to mess with it. Runs great and drives the steering is a little tight I’m not sure if it’s just from sitting. Buick 225 engine It’s clean inside and out very solid underneath I can get more pics and info upon request Located in Avon park, FL $4,800obo
Had sat for a long time. Runs and drives and kinda stops atm. Could use a tune up and fresh gas for sure. Brakes could use a lil work. Body is rough. Frame looks good. Just to many projects atm. Title in hand. $4900 obo may trade for a Polaris Ranger/rzr etc
What is the going rate for these? Not sure what this even fits.
I see them a lot, don’t have a use for one other then a Wall Hanger, I would buy one in the $50 range would be my target for a Wall Hanger is my thinking.
I never post these since there are lots out there it seems. But if you are in the know I’m open to learning more.
Has good patina and colors.
This looks like an older listing by the Photo file names I grabbed, still lost on how to tell when a listing was posted when they no longer have the “listed ### ago” still not even sure how they gets this under “listed”. So just for that reason this is more of a science experiment on my end to learn more about tail gates and WAG on prices if you are game to share.
Information from seller:
Jeep Willie’s tailgate unsure of exact year in good shape 225 cash
Well a few F134 posted up, this looks like a good option as well. You probably can fit 2- F134 in the truck!

I installed new shocks,750 16 tires, new wiring harness, 12 volt conversion alternator that was made to look like the generator, taillights, NO PAPERWORK. Have owned the vehicle for 10+ years. Not sure of the year but I think it is a 1954. Very solid vehicle, runs and drives great.
Patrick is working on a very neat project for a Museum piece up in Green Bay WI from May 2026 to Sept 2026 and is in need of a replica of Ronald Regan’s CJ-6 Jeep or CJ-8 Scrambler or maybe a even Red CJ-3B.
If you happen to have a Jeep you would like to toss in the ring for consideration please reach out to us. Post@ewillys.com
