Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1943 Willys MB military jeep no paperwork (LIGHT BLUE COLOR) in ROUGH SHAPE has BAD FRAME has been neglected outdoors for many years before i was able to save it from the scrapyard. original 4 cyl engine DOES NOT RUN but turns free about 3/4 turn and stops (possibly a valve stuck open) i havent gotten into the engine to find out what is wrong …all wheels/axles roll free body tub is rough shape see pictures does have both front seat frames and also the metal frame/armrest for the rear seat ….has one spare rim and tire not sure if the tire is any good …does not have the original fuel tank with it it was removed before i got the willys <<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>at some point in this old miltary veterans past someone mounted a snow plow on the front but the unique thing about that is it is AIR OPERATED (pneumatic) there is a belt drive compressor on the engine that fills a holding tank(currently mounted between the 2 front seats ) that supplies air to a valve mounted on the steering column that operates a truck AIR BRAKE CANISTER to raise and lower the plow……..that is creativity at its best and working with what you have laying around for sure

“I WANT THESE GONE THIS WEEKEND – TEXT ME LETS MAKE A DEAL.
I have two 1974 CJ5 and a mountain of other parts to go with them.
1. Blue one – ’74 shackle lift, AMC 360ci, 4speed, dana 300, dana 44 rear locked. body is rough but all there. Ran ok when I started taking it apart. I bought a new electronic distributor that should make a big difference as the points we’re pretty worn out in the old one. The distributor was not installed. brand new 31/10.5 BFG All Terrains.
2. Black one. Shackle over lift on wide track AMC 20 and Dana 30 axles with front discs and 4.11 gears. 36″ swampers in ok shape(25%) tread 83 4.2 AMC I6 swapped in runs great, 3 speed and dana 300. needs brake line redone, I have lines. I also have the new disc/drum master cylinder to go with it. New in box warn hubs and loc rite locker for amc 20. Runs great starts right up. Ignition etc upgraded. Needs seats etc installed.
I also have:
Stock re-arched springs for the ’74
Stock ’74 axles (1) dana 30 and (2) dana 44 in addition to the axles in the jeeps.
extra AMC i6 motor
4 speed from 83 CJ
4″ CJ lift springs
Couple of gas tanks
1 set of seat frames for early cj5’s
4 cj seats
other misc parts
I would like $2200 or b/o for everything. If the add is up I still have it. I’m not ready to separate anything yet but some one in the dooryard with cash can be persuasive I willing to negotiate I want my garage back for a different project. I would also consider full or partial trades for the right cj7, cj8 even if a project. Anything that’s a Willys. 3/4 ton pickup, anything with a plow, anything that goes bang, 20 ish foot center console with or without a motor. Tj or yj considered as well. ”

“Very nice fully restored stock 1967 CJ5 Kaiser Jeep with 65K actual miles (clean title). Summer 2013 professional rebuild of factory Buick Dauntless 225 V6 engine (only 500 miles on new motor). Summer 2014 professional rebuild of original T86 3 speed manual transmission. Frame off in 2011 with every part and system fixed and or replaced; rust cut out, new metal welded in and fresh paint applied; Line-Ex inside and underneath. Original hard top and doors, with soft top and bikini top available. Stock suspension with good condition vintage L78-15 mud & snow tires mounted on OEM 15X6 steel rims (matching NOS spare tire & OEM steel rim). OEM hub caps available. Six point roll cage and three point seat belts for the kids in the new back bench seat. New custom black carpet. Will pass a state inspection! NADAGUIDE has this jeep valued at 15K high end retail. I have over 18K invested.
