This looks like a pretty low price for a running CJ-5.

“Jeep runs strong has a 304 fresh rebuilt runs an drive have a clean title. 4×4 works only thing it needs is body secured to frame better it is bolted but could be stronger but is driven as is. asking 875 i have spare parts for jeep. needs radiator an fan but came with an electric fan an recently got a radiator for it. needs master cylinder cuz front brakes dont work the best but still stops! Needs a little work but well worth it”

Brett spotted this CJ-5 that has an odd dashboard … but looks solid for the price.

mUPDATE: **SOLD** Was1000.

This is another find by the Utah eWillys Bureau (read Brett..) This includes a PTO (probably for a winch).  It looks pretty good for the price.  It would not take much to slip a different rear end under there and make this a driver.

“I’ve had it street legal for the past couple years and almost always drove it around with the wind shield down and never gotten stopped. It runs good and 4 wheel drive works, I put a new clutch in that I would guess has less then 100 miles on it. BAD NEWS: Last year The rear differential went out and locked up the tires… so will need too be trailered home.  It will need a new ring and pinion, brand new they run around 200$ or if you find another dana 44 someplace for less you could just swap out the hole rear axle and be on your way… I’m asking 1000.00 Call or text anytime. If I don’t answer leave a message. Will consider all trades, could use camera gear or auto shop tools …”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1700.

Brett spotted what appears to be a good deal on a CJ-5. Lots of pics provided as well.  It’s not perfect, but good for the price.  This sports the early CJ-5 reversed front springs.

“1956 Willys jeep for sale. Great little CJ 5, would make a fun project for father and son. Good hunting vehicle or summer cruiser. The jeep is far from perfect and needs some TLC. The jeep runs but needs a new battery and tires. I purchased new front and rear seats and also lined the interior. Due to the age of the jeep it does not need to pass emmissons test. I have children playing Comp soccer so that is where my time and money go…my loss is your gain. It has no hard top and comes as is….No reasonable offer will be refused.”

This hasn’t been started in four years.

“This is a fun jeep. My father actually left it to my son 8 years ago (when he was 8) and we spent some time and money making it road worthy. We put new springs, shackles, shocks, wiring harness, carburetor, and tires back in 2003 or 2004. I drove it to and from work many times back then. It does have rust, mostly in the floor pan but there is some on the wheel wells and body also. It hasn’t been started in over 4 years so you will need to tow it away and spend a couple hours with it and it does actually have a tow bar. My son is now 16 and has no time and no desire to get it running again and make it his primary transportation. Email me and ask for more pictures, we took a couple dozen with close ups so you can see all the good and bad before driving out to SW Littleton to buy it. ”
