About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1955 Willy’s Jeep CJ5First production year of the CJ5, It’s a pretty rare find It doesn’t presently have a radiator and there is something wrong with the brakes but it has a tow bar that I myself used to bring it home. I have the origional radiator I’m not sure if it’s going to be salvagable or not. It’s to be sold as is I have some additional parts like wiper motors and after market side steps etc.”

This appears to be a nice looking CJ-5 at a surprisingly low price given it’s a dealership.
“1964 Willys Jeep CJ5, Red with white soft top, 3.8 (gm) V6 with automatic transmission (old conversion), 4×4, Runs & Drives good. Old Allstate locking hubs, aluminum wheels, rear seat, extra set of half doors, Body is in good shape, Great old antique jeep to restore for shows or cool old trail jeep. This jeep does not have power steering or power brakes, it is geared very low so 50mph or so is about top speed with this drivetrain. It is not PA inspected and will not be. It came from out of state. Only $1995.00 Brian Kauffman’s Autorama, York, 717-764-6620”
This seems a surprising price on a nice looking CJ-5. The tires are a little big for my tastes, but otherwise this looks great.
“chevy v8 new dana 44 diffs mini spool in the rear. top load 4 spd. 38″ tires for sale or make take a trade or partial trade. Call or text to 1-308-289-4832. Have a title for the jeep but can’t find the vin plate.”
This has a nice looking cage, good looking diamond plating, good rims, though the tires don’t match. It looks like a good price for a parts jeep. Note the shackle reversal and outboarded back springs as well. This might make a good foundation for a project.
“1968 Willys CJ 5 project. It has the body, frame, T-14 3 speed, T-18 T.C, Dana 44 “offset” rearend, Dana 30 frontend, rollcage, new motor mounts for a 4.3 V6 or SBC, shackle reversal and rear springs moved outboard, lift springs (spring under), 35″ tires (almost new but dont match) on chrome wheels, warn hubs, So…$500 FIRM for rolling jeep…. no motor OR…………………….
4.3 V6 (temp mounted in CJ) I was told that the motor was built, also has aluminum intake, roller rockers and Mallory ignition. I have Clear title. So…$500 for rolling jeep no motor or $800 with the motor. FIRM on all my prices. Moving and need the cash. If interested e-mail me at ductapeit@yahoo.com 509-793-3692 Ken ”
“1966 Jeep CJ-5 factory stock Buick V6 and headers. Stock running gear 3.73 diffs. Running gear is intact and not broken. No bondo. No rust holes. Has not been wrecked. No frame cracks. Solid tub has been sand blasted bottom and inside. Swing away spare tire carrier. 6 point cage. Has been in my garage for 8 years. Ran and drove when parked. I began collecting new and used parts off and on with the intention of making a streetable rig. Good for some mild weekend wheeling. Some parts mocked-up on the chassis are GM Saginaw power steering with tilt column. AMC type rear mounted fuel tank includes filler cap insert (still has stock tank under seat). AMC type heater box. Other parts included are: locker spool for rear diff, GM (Blazer) front disc spindles, door frames, Rancho 1 1/2″ springs and shocks. 1″ shackles. Aluminum 15″ wheels. New parts: Spring bushing kit, rear diamond plate, LED taillights, body mount kit (stock height), windshield seal/frame to cowl seal, pedal rubbers, shifter boots. The only body damage is very minor on right front fender. Surface rust”
“A unique hydraulic dump body jeep conversion, also comes equipped with a 6′ plow blade. New shocks and master cylinder. Has NYS registration. Please email with a phone number I can contact you with. Thanks for looking.”
A reader sent this our direction. One interesting feature is the rectangular square on the driver’s side. That’s not something standard is it? It includes an Overdrive.
“been stored original cond one repaint originally red professional overhauled original engine with original owners manual towbar 1943 army trailer avail also”
UPDATE: This was $85,000 for the whole collection. I have found some related craigslist ads. See them below.
I’ve found a couple references to the sale of this collection. Anyone know more? Based on the pic to the right, these don’t appear in great condition. My guess is that this is over priced.
Here’s a link to Hemmings that reads “WILLYS: elderly WW II veteran has vintage Jeep collection, 40s-60s, both military and civilian, must sell, best offer.”

CRAIGSLIST ADS RELATED TO ABOVE:
1946 CJ-2A $4995
This one looks perfectly find. The price doesn’t seem that outrageous.
“1946 Willys C-J2A spruce green all original condition, partially restored with new canvas removable top – runs and drives – $4,995”
1948 CJ-2A $11,500
This one doesn’t look like it is in great condition. There’s no reason to think it is worth $11,500.
“1948 Willys C-J2A signal red fully restored and in great condition – $11,500– Firm”
