Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1963 cj6 with “Fireball” v6, Three speed manual. Runs and drives perfect. 4×4 works flawless. Has a heater, radio, rear back lights, 4500 pound winch, folding tow bar for easy transport. There is no rust in floor. The floor has been repaired with new metal. Frame has no rust. Very solid Jeep for its age. New master cylinder, brake lines, and brake pads all the way around. Hard top with doors is removable. Title in hand. Will trade for ? Text ”
Looks trail ready. I wonder if they stretched the frame also, or just used a CJ-6.

Over $20k invested in upgrades. Some upgrades include; custom dash with Autometer gauges, Suspension Seats, tilt steering, power steering with AGR super pump and box, Dana 30 front end, 4 inch lift, Rebuilt 225 V6, Rebuilt T86, Rebuilt Spicer 18 T-Case, Brand new Swampers mounted on 15X10 A/R rims and more! This is NOT a crawler but I’ve had it in some hairy spots and never been stuck. Great trail jeep, hunting vehicle or daily driver. Jeep needs absolutely nothing and is ready to go! ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $27,000.
It’s a clean refurb with some updates, but the market won’t support that price.
“I inherited a Jeep and want to sell it. Full frame up resto. Five speed. Powder coated, boxed in frame. Disc brakes on new Dana 44’s. Freeway geared. Ported original Buick dauntless v6, matching numbers. Complete undercoat of Rino Liner. Two extra inline fuel cells builds into undercarriage. New EVERYTHING. Gage’s, lights, stainless bolts. Work was done by Dan Coy of Coys customs of Huntington Beach. This jeep is legit. I will need some sort of proof you have this level of cash before I will show it. $50k invested. I’m a busy guy. No lookey loos. I have the 1972 title for it. One owner. My Dad.”

(06/26/2015) Has some dents in the front clip. Could use some paint. Looks pretty stock.
“1962 Jeep cj6. Rebuilt f-Head 4 cylinder with paperwork. Front brakes all new including master cylinder. New exhaust. Lights work including turn signals. Wiring is clean and correct. Koenig all steel cab. All Drivetrain fluids flushed and refilled. New spring bushings and shocks. Knuckle seals replaced. Heater works great. This is a great jeep that runs excellent and drives down the road good.”
