Glenn wanted to share this auction with folks. http://kerrypae.com/auctions.html?select=upcoming&id=3
“The Auction is in Etters, PA just off I-83 south of Harrisburg and north of York. There’s more than 50 oldies to pick from including two DJ’s. In the picture it shows a DJ3A on the left and a LHD DJ5 on the right. Looks like the DJ3A shown in pix 35 and 36 has many usable part. Emailing the auction company got nothing back, so I’m assuming they expect it all to go for junk. Hopefully someone local can snatch them. No Titles, just be prepared to move ’em quickly says the instructions.”
UPDATE: Bill took a variety of pictures, including the speedometer picture below.

Bill writes, “Another victim of Katrina….I wonder if I could get a government grant to restore it? Found 10 miles from the epicenter of the storm. Was under 20 feet of salt water, never washed off until years after the storm. A few rare parts and a LOT OF ROT..”
Glenn spotted this one. The flattie was being parted out, but only the frame and a few other parts are left. The body parts have been sold. I thought it was unusual enough that i would post it anyway. It appears to be part DJ and part CJ.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650
(10/27/2011) The seller believes these are CJ-2As, so I suspect they are DJs on CJs.
“1. CJ-2A Runs, needs carb rebuilt, floor pans, muffler system, gas tank, has one seat
2. Hardtop CJ-2A, have engine but out
Also have extra rolling frame with engine, transmission, transfer case, front and rear axles. Great winter projects.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $100
I think this is a mix of DJ-3A and CJ-2A parts.
“according to the serial number this is a 1946 willys cj2A. It does not have a title so it is for parts only. engine is in it and complete but unknown and some parts are missing but still has tons of useable parts for someone restoring an old willys.Tub is pretty rusted out but grill fenders and other body panels are salvagable.
you must take the whole jeep no cherry picking It does roll freely to tow I just pulled it out and moved it to where it is now.”
UPDATE: Was listed at $400. **SOLD**
No pics provided.
“Old willys 2wd (dj-surrey?). Originally purchased for the motor but no longer need. Flat four engine turns over but compresion now low (valve seating?). Tight steering, smooth trans and rear, recored rad., new master cyl., hoses and belts, added one wire gm alt., straight body with alot of rust and trashed seats. Some good parts if someone needs. $400 for all. “
UPDATE: The price is now apparently $1500.
It looks like it might have a DJ body.

This comes with emergency brake blocks (check front wheels).
“This is a totally rebuilt and customized 1959 Willys CJ3. I bought this for my wife several years ago and she is too petite to drive it. The engine & transfer case were rebuilt. Frame is clean and coated, no rust. It has a fiberglass tub and stainless fasteners, metal hood. 2″ lift kit. 2 sets of fog lights. Custom front and rear bumper that holds spare tire, two Jerry Cans and Jack. Front bumper has mounts for tow bar. Electronic ignition, point & parts included. Electric wipers. There is an alloy fuel cell installed in the rear seat area. I also have a gas tank that will fit underneath if you want to install a rear seat that I will throw in. Have manuals also. The top is brand new. Custom bucket seats with competition seat belts. This is a very clean Willys, the only rust is on the rims where the water lays when it gets wet. I have over $7400 invested. Asking $6800.00 or best offer. No low ball offers. I don’t need to give it away. A must see to appreciate, you won’t find another one like this one. Feel free to ask question, I will help anyway I can. Email or Call 724 263 2404”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650.
The seller claims no rust. This could be a good price.
“40 -49 red jeep—4cyl motor—3 on the tree—2wd—been in storage for many years—no rust—will probably run with little tinkering—no title,but has 68 tag”
