For you ballet fans, here’s Vaslav Nijinsky in a jeep in post-war Vienna.

“1945 Press Photo Ballet dance Vaslav Nijinsky in jeep at Schonbrun Palace. This is an original press photo. Vienna Delighted as a child with his 1st ride in a jeep, famed ballet dancer Vaslav Nijinsky enjoys his trip over the rounds of the Schonbrun Palace in Vienna.Once reported eliminated by the Nazis, the Ballet Russe star is in good physical health today. Accompanying him are his wife Romola and the driver Pvt Arnold Henius, Indianapolis Ind Photo measures 8 x 6.25 inches. Photo is dated 08-28-1945.”

This a rare factory photo of early Nissan Patrol 4W60s. It was taken only three months after they began production. The 4W60s were made through 1960.

Jeep-Japan – Industry – Bigger and more powerful than their American counterparts, Japanese jeeps receive their finishing touches in the Nissan Motor factory in Tokyo. The jeeps are used by the national rural police to speed up investigation work. More than 100 of the vehicles, which are constructed from materials from Japan, have been delivered. Photo measures 9 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 12-04-1951.”
