About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: Pics now provided. It was listed as a 1948, the tub is a 3B.

“This Kaiser Jeepster Commando Truck (Half Cab) is pure joy. I can’t tell you how much fun this little truck can be. I drove a 69 Jeepster when I was in high school, and when this 1971 project presented itself, I couldn’t resist. I bought this Jeepster from a guy who had it parked in a airplane hanger around Colorado Springs. Because I was very familiar with the original Jeepster’s I took great pains to find original parts and did my best to make it as pure of a Kaiser Jeepster as possible. I even bought a Half Cab that had been crushed to obtain the orignal black moulding pieces (that are impossible to find!). The white truck bed cover is an original Whitco Jeepster top that I was lucky to find new in the box. This Jeepster has a Dauntless V6 motor with a three speed transmission. The 4 Wheel Drive works very well.
I’ve driven it back and forth from Colorado to Wichita KS several times. I have an excellent mechanic in Estes Park as well as another in Wichita. These guys have loved working on it. I have had everything reviewed, and this car is in as good of shape as one could expect from a 1971 Jeepster. The Half Cab’s really turn an eye. It seems to me that many people have seen the Station Wagon’s and the Convertible’s but have seldom seen the Truck.”
“Selling our 1949 Willys jeepster. Car runs great. Willys only mad this car for 4 years and it’s 1 of 2960 made in 1949. Were only selling it because we have 2 babies and no time to drive. Car was driven in Hot August Nights. I have all records including pictures of the car before it was restored. Great weekend driver. $12,500 obo.”
“Barn find, 1950 Willys Jeepster, complete car, needs restoration, it has the flathead 6 motor with 3 speed manual trans with overdrive, clear Ohio title, needs lots of work, but they only made just over 1700 of them in 1950, so its rare, comes with some extra parts, and another complete frontend, 2900”
