About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“It has a Buick 350 swapped into it, which runs surprisingly well. It has never failed to start, even after sitting for years at a time. It runs and drives, but needs steering attention and brakes redone. Body is in overall, decent shape. Top is in rough shape and is only on to protect from the elements. It has an original dash, and dash pad, along with a new steering column. There is no wiring, other than what is necessary to start the vehicle. It will come with a new wiring harness, from “Painless Performance”.”
UPDATE: This Jeepster photo is making the rounds on Facebook; this post provides a little more info.

Posted December 24, 2020: This article provides more information about this stunt Jeepster and plane. It was published in the March 20, 1949, issue of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram:

What makes this relevant for jeep fans was that to keep the plan in the air, the crew used Jeepsters borrowed from local dealers to race down the airport runway so the crew could hand fuel and food to the two pilots.
“48 Willys Jeepster street rod. Gm crate engine. 350. Turbo 350 transmission. Ford 8 inch rearend. Power disc brakes. Power steering. Fat man fabrication front suspension. Disc brakes. Tubular A arms. Set up nice. Cruises down the highway. All the street rod conversion was done by a professional shop. Lots of money invested. Very cool at a low price”

It’s a shame to see this rare Hurst Edition Jeepster Commando. For someone who needs Hurst related parts, this might be an opportunity, but not a whole lot of value here. Based on the serial number of 68632, this is likely a 1970. On this page is a 66357 that has a production date of Feb 1970.
“This jeep Commando appears to be a 69 or 70 year; is rough but mostly complete with good hard to find parts, been exposed to the elements for many years, has a soft top that is about torn off, rusted in part of the body upper and lower, seats and interior intact but needs reupholstering, V6 engine, 4 wheel drive, No Title”
“TWO Willys Jeepsters. Both Yellow/black, one has rusty rear floor pans and frame but runs, other one has solid frame and body but does not run. Both cars mostly complete. $6,900 Make reasonable offer/possible trade Ideally looking for possible trade for a Willys Wagon”
