Motor turn over freely the valve look very clean
Transmission is good shift with no problem
Transfer case is good shift with no problem
Gear Box steering very little play to none
Gas tank need some cleaning
The 24V systems was replace with a 12V missing the Carburetor Radiator

Sounds like some solid updates.
“This is a modified 1952 M38 military jeep. This is very solid and not rusty. It has a 1974 mustang II motor that runs good as well as an automatic transmission and power steering. It has axles from a 1965 CJ5 and will go faster than 45 mph. It needs the metal brake lines replaced on the axles because they are not there from the axle swap. It has the original Dana 18 transfer case and the four wheel drive works. This jeep was built in 1976 and has been sitting ever since in storage. This is not a junky jeep made for the woods to beat up and trash. With a little work this can be a great daily driver. The 1976 white top is still in very good condition. This has a clear TN title.
This has an unusual dash. It looks like the entire dash plate has been replaced.

This looks like a good restoration project, but the engine is stuck.
“1952 Jeep M38 This is one of the nicest M38’s to come along in a long time. NO RUST! Solid all the way around except for the large transmission cover panel. I have included a different one to replace it.
If you have ever wanted an easy project that would result in a top of the line restoration, don’t wait.
Very complete, only missing a few minor cosmetic items. The engine is stuck from sitting. All the 24V electrics are intact. This jeep originally had the arctic heater package on it which is why the cowl vent panel is not on the windshield.

“1972 CJ5 Jeep, frame, drive-train, V8 engine. Project jeep the body is of a 1953 M38 with many of the parts modified. Many parts both of the 53 era and of the 72 era. Fun project but have to move. Body mounted on the 72 frame no modifications required bolted in”
This runs well, but does not work. Not sure how to interpret that.
