This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “PRICE DROPPED…. I NEED THIS JEEP GONE….I NEED THE ROOM NOW…..Going to give up on the dream i had for this project. No more money and absolutely no more time for this project, previous owner installed a 70’s olds or buick V-8 (330?) he said it ran great when parked, had tranny problems, hince no tranny is in the jeep. Everything in the pictures is included minus the roll bar (sold). Frame is very good. Body had rust signs of patches and needs more work. Has power steering. Looks like a chevy steering box. Can transport or deliver, or assist with loading on your freight carrier. no title, bill of sale only

(10/26/2012) This appears to be a CJ-2A frame/running gear with a replacement body (M-38 style) and windshield.
“For sale: 1948 M38 Willys. Currently registered and inspected last month. Excellent running condition, previous owner was a mechanic. New brakes and master cylinder. This is a rare jeep, first come first serve! Email with questions.”

“this is a 1951 military jeep that is in great shape for its age. i have owned this jeep nearly 20 yrs and have every receipt for it. it is street legal and has been very fun to drive over the years. serious inquiries only and not interested in any trades at this time. 636 284 7224”

This is missing a few M-38 related items, but might be a solid jeep.
“Vehicle is in good shape, runs well. Excellent condition for restoration project or just use as is. The seat frames were stollen, so new owner would have to buy new frames or adapt newer seats. Engine was rebuilt a few years ago, so there are very few miles on it. New brakes and cylinders. It has the original carb. I am trying to get more pictures on, but having much success. Will attach pictures to email on request.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
This appears to be a M-38 with bow holders on the side and bow holders at the rear corners. Very odd.
“I have for sale a 1947 Willys military model Jeep. It was used in the Navy. It is all original except for the motor. The motor is a Dauntless 225 v6. It runs great. I also have the doors for the to and three extra tires to go with the Jeep.”
