About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Willies jeep WW2 era Inline 4 cylinder Manual trans Complete Great resto or rock crawler build 4×4 All vehicles “ran when parked” This is a part of a large estate sale so Information is limited on each item All come with either original title affidavit in Lue or JVA”
“Registered as a 1946 Willy VIN# on pink slip and registration:GPW52643.
The title is registered to the motor which is a GPW block with a Willy’s mb head.
Clean title & current registration in my name
Toe board gusset serial number:9869
Data plate serial number:113589
DOD 1-20-42
All three original data plates intact, but missing Frame tag
Gpw motor
Correct axels
Original transmission
Body has bondo but overall in good shape for early production slat grille.
Runs and drives
New break lines
New master cylinder
Carburetor rebuilt with nos rebuild kit
12v system
Overall this Willy’s is a perfect candidate for someone who loves WW2 jeeps. Will make a great restoration project for someone. Body does hold some bondo but to be expected with the original body. Floor plans are solid. Frame looks good. Very little rust on the undercarriage, minus the usual gussets.
“Hi I’m selling my 1942 Willy’s jeep. -Runs, drives, stops. -clean title, current registration through end of year. – original flathead 4cyl. motor – original 3 speed manual transmission – all lights work – new seats – was converted from 6v to 12v at some point – I have a full soft enclosure for it that’s in rough shape, can go with it if desired – Grill has been swapped out for a cj3 grill I believe – home-made bumpers, has a little bit of body work done in the back so rear lights are integrated into bumper. – aftermarket relocated fuel tank. Awesome rig! Could be made great with a little more love. Right now it’s a super cool running and driving project.”
“1944 Military Jeep. Runs and drives good. New carburetor, new radiator, new fuel pump, new brakes, new battery, transmission/transfer case rebuild. Has the “hurricane” motor from a cj3b, which is basically the same as the original “go devil” with a different head and 30 more hp. It’s wired up for easy flat tow (unhook the battery, hood the 4 plug) to use stock taillights.
Has island top and soft doors, but not normal top. It has a textured paint job to hide some of the flaws. Far from perfect but looks decent. Valuing the trade around $6000. Possible trades: boomsticks, samurai, car trailer, 12 valve cummins, 70s ford pickup, classic cars, classic bronco, snowmobile, ATV, UTV. Not interested in: major projects, things you grow, labor, or household items.”
“1944 Jeep. Runs good has strong ford six motor. Great for off road or around town. Current Colorado title and registration. Woodland park area. $7000 or best offer.”

“WWII 1943 Willys Jeep, MB engine with Serial Number MB-250260 which matches the military depot data plate on the frame. It was rebuilt by the military on 10/14/1952 at Esslingen Ordinance Depot. The engine does turn over and is fairly original under the hood. The only thing not original for the era, is the voltage regulator for the generator. It has original gauges, but someone broke out the glass. Engine is mated to T84 transmission. It includes all seat frames front and rear, original fuel tank, 4 combat rims with used NDT and new tubes mounted. Also included is a set of top bows however they are for a M-38 and not an MB. They could be converted by welding. Original windshield frame is pretty rough but this jeep comes with another external windshield frame that could be used.
“1949 Jeep with spare parts Does not run, no engine, has spare tub, fenders hood, springs, drive shafts, body rough on extra tub and rolling jeep. Can be used as parts or to put back together, have Transmission and transfer case that can be rebuilt with newer synchros and small bearing kits included, not all new bearings are there. This Jeep is not put together. Pictures show it will roll, but tub will have to be loaded separately. I have a Nevada Title that goes with it, but not in my name, it was signed by the previous owner. I will not answer to is it still available, once it is sold, it will be marked as sold and removed”
“Jeep Only. Titled cj2a with a Willy’s MB body. 11 inch brakes. 5 matching 15 inch rims. I have video of the jeep running and driving before the body swap. Would not take much to get running again. I do have the windshield that will come with the vehicle. I have additional parts for sale not included with the jeep. Let me know if you have any questions”
