About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(10/27/2015) I’m assuming the seller means Dana 18.
“1943 Willys MB Jeep, rebuilt original L-134 Flathead four engine, rebuilt original T-84 transmission with all new internals, rebuilt original Dana 20 transfer case also with new internals, New 15gal aluminum fuel tank, bed liner rolled on inside tub of body, runs good, Ready to go Hunting.”
“42 Willys flat fender, runs and drives has soft top, super swampers everything works. testing the waters don’t need to sell but might for the right offer”
Needs a pedal fix. The body has a drain hole for some reason. Might be a replacement tub.
“I have a working driving and good condition 1942 willys military version original engine and tranny and everything else has soft top as well newer tires carb just redone. please make me an offer as I did not put one so we can see where you stand first on price. please don’t call with a low ball price it’s insulting to the jeep. It should be noted that the only thing needs to be done is a new gas pedal simple fix other than that it’s ready to drive”
“This is a great project for a Jeep person! Two Jeeps for the price of one. First is a military MB Jeep. The body is in good shape, solid, has recored radiator, new front bumper, original rims have been blasted and ready for paint in the back. Some other parts in boxes go along with also. No engine, transmission or transfer case. This one is easily restoreable and would be a great parade vehicle or military collectible. The second Jeep is a civilian CJ2A which is very similar to the first one, it has the drivetrain still in it. Engine is stuck but could probably be freed up. Body on this one is not as bad as some , between the two you can make one runner! Neither one currently has a title, but can be titled with little effort. Asking $2200 or best offer for both, need to go before winter so come look and make an offer!”
“1945 Willys MB Jeep
This jeep has been sitting for 5 years since it last ran. The engine will run, but has not been started lately.
T-84 transmission.
L134 motor – out of something newer like a CJ2A.
Body is pretty straight.
Not a lot of rust for the year.
There are pictures of rust holes in the floorboard of driver and passenger side.”
Seller has listed this as a 1943, but it looks more like a CJ-3A or even a DJ (no gas inlet).
“PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST All original, not currently running, however it will run with a battery and oil change. It has been sitting a couple years. It ran when I parked it and it’s stored indoors. NOW LISTEN This is a very desirable vehicle. I WILL NOT GIVE A PRICE. Make me an offer if your interested. Email me your offer, name and telephone number and I will contact you.”
