This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Offered for sale from a estate is a 1944 Willys MB Military jeep 1/4 ton 4X4. Jeep is in excellent running order and has had the following work performed on it since 1970. Engine overhaul, transmission gone thru, radiator cleaned, one set of new springs, new wheel cylinders, between the two previous owners only a 1000 miles has been put on the vehicle. all metal is original from 1944,but the electrical system has been changed from 6V to 12V with a alternator put on instead of a generator. This vehicle is a piece of Americana history and is 72 years old. all wheels are original a nice historic vehicle.
No pics provided of the 1945 jeep.

“Hey, I’ve got an mb for sale. Not sure of year data plates missing. Axles may already be sold. I want $500 for tub doesn’t include gages and switches, $500 for engine, transmission and transfer case for $300 transfer case missing levers, frame $100 it is kinda hacked in the front, cj hood $100, grill $75 and windshield $100 , steering wheel, colum and gear box $150, fenders $ 100 for the set, gas tank $75 but needs work, email me for more info and pics.”

No combat/solid rims, but would make someone a good parade jeep.

Runs well, drives and stops. It’s a great reenacting or parade jeep. It has a machine gun mount on the fender step as well. It needs a little touching up here and there as seen in the photos. Come take a look.
The machine gun in the pictures is a wooden replica and is included.”
