Willys Jeep Engines and Transmissions $VARIOUS Athens, TN
230 Looks like a Wagon/Truck, showing a decent exhaust manifold, 2BBL Holley 2415 should be on there from what it looks like. It’s been detailed at some point in its life, would need some more numbers to dial in what year and the sort, which we can help with if someone wanted this one. I have 12, so I’m good at the moment, I will say the most I think I ever paid was right around the $800 mark and I overpaid for that one it happens. But this is showing a T90/D18 on the back (I think they want to sell this separate), if they separate it hopefully they do just pull the T90 combo and leave the Bellhousing (Same as a 226) if they remove the Bellhousing (which is so much work for no value there IMO) make sure to snag the Flywheel here they are unique to the 230, and the bolts are special as well that hold these on, but you really can’t take those out, I would not cut them ever take the time to properly remove the Flywheel its pretty straight forward once you have done one, just be careful in general so its not flying at you.
Couple other parts and pieces as well.
This is it for today, I’m already running late and its only 4:10am!

There is a lot here to go over and he has had Jeeps for over 50 Years so there is a ton of stuff to review.
The ’49 has a Rear PTO, Counterweight up front, neat hard top.
If you have questions his contact info is below, you also can send an email to post@ewillys.com
It’s a neat collection of Willys stuff. If your looking to join or expand your fleet there is a lot here to look over.
I have had jeeps for over 50 years. In that time, these are the two that I kept. The CJ 2A, would be a good project for someone. It has a very reliable drive train and the body is decent. The CJ 3A, is one of the nicest, most original models that I’ve seen. At one time in its life, it was painted John Deere Green, but it does have the original drive train and mostly original parts.
I would like to sell all of this together, as one package. Asking $22, 000.
If interested, please email me at: dklk_hiddenacres@aol.com
Not breaking out separately at this time would like to package with the above Jeeps.

1953 Willys Aero Gauge $120 McPherson, KS
Was just discussing these last night (well I was anyway), with the external VR on the Aero large Speedo. Discussion revolved around the external vs internal VR. I had only seen the external on the earlier gauges say for example pre 1957 1/2 stuff or 6V rigs. The typical post 1957-1/2 large 0-9 has an internal VR to the Fuel Gauge that is used for the Temp Gauge.
Here you will see the external one hanging off the back this is listed as a 1953 and is the early version of the 0-9, 6V is my guess here being ’53 in general, you can actually use this chrome trim on a large 0-9 to make a slightly custom Tux’ish like gauge. I would know if I saw that, but it would take a keen eye to see that.
This looks very nice for what it is.
They played around with the numbers on these a little bit, I have seen 0-9, 0-0, 0-10 so they are pretty neat at times to see all that. My guess is the 0-0 and 0-10 was a calibration for the needle to be mid point with the available rear diff, tire size, speedo gear and keeping the desired number in the middle.
The typical Jeep is 45 MPH in the middle and that also crosses over to the kMH scales, which nice NOS are able to be had in the large 0-9 in kMH but not typically in MPH.
I’m not in the game at full list price here due to inventory I have, but if you need a 0-10 they don’t fall off trees, but you may be able to shake a few. Mine unfortunately came in trashed it was packed very poorly I think I paid $50 for it.
I think it will sell for exactly what the buyer will pay and the seller accepts.
If the seller sees this and does not get the price they need hit me up will add it to the Speedo Display. But it really belongs in a car driving down the road, it’s a nice one.
Information from seller:
A dash gauge from a 1953 Willys Aero. Everything appears in good condition except the wiring, which can be redone. The chrome is showing light pitting.
