Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Franco spotted this custom Argentina-built intake manifold for a Tornado 230. The seller describes it as a head, but it looks to be an intake manifold.

“New reproduction Willy’s CJ-2A body tub. The previous owner attempted to mount the tub onto a CJ-3A frame and therefore drilled and cut holes in the floorpans / dash to try and make everything work. (CJ3A frame is longer than a CJ2A) Go check the price of a new reproduction body tub (plus what it costs to ship) and then come buy mine. $1500 obo. Other Willys parts available, specifically early CJ’s stuff.”
This rare head is currently available on eBay. It’s priced at $5000. Neat part, but I don’t see it selling at that price any time soon.

“Up for sale is an ultra rare Kaiser/Willys Edmunds aluminum finned cylinder head for the 226 engine. You may not see another one of these, there aren’t many around. There also weren’t many performance parts produced for the 226 engine. I can’t say this is an NOS part, but it is very clean and appears to be unused. Being sold as is, but is in incredibly nice condition for its age.”

This looks to be a good price. There are similar Bobcat-style wide-lipped versions of this body, but the steps were different. So, I’m not sure who the manufacturer of this body was.

Maury shared this rare Capstan winch for sale. Note that the original lever to the side of the capstan winch has been moved and improvised. The data plate has beed removed.
