“WWII Willys 1/4 ton MBT trailer, built on 3-44, Serial # 64246 . The trailer is mostly complete, only missing the lunette, tail lights (one included), 1 reflector and original wiring. The ball type hitch is not welded on, it’s bolted, you should be able to removed it fairly easily. This has a lot of original parts: original data plate, light brackets, reflectors (3), handbrake and cable, chains, landing leg and swivel (work great), shocks, combat rims and what I believe are the original WWII Goodyear NDT Military tires. Tires hold air and I supposed it could be towed home, but I would trailer it.There are some issues with the box, so I have included the top half of another MBT trailer (front and both side panels) that you can use to graft onto/patch the areas on the front bulkhead and 1 side. This way you get the right metal thickness and stamping, and your trailer remains all original. Also, included is one tail light bucket.”

Plenty of surface rust.

“What we have here is an early Willys MBT 1/4 ton trailer. Best for parts, or a low cost restoration item. Chassis is solid, early cast center willys axle, cotter pin shock mounts, lunette mount is nice, has ebrake assembly, flat tow hooks. No ID plates other than a PA ID plate, bill of sale only, no title. I have correct 16″ jeep wheels if wanted. Really rare early production, only a few made with the cast center axle. Body is quite rusty and beat up. Will trade for other MB, 2A, 3A, 3B, M38 or 58-62 Willys pickup parts (Body tubs, rolling chassis, parts vehicles, clean sheetmetal, etc) or?”

“Here is a 1951 Dunbar Kapple M 100 ¼ ton trailer in unaltered and very good condition with minimal surface rust.  It has brand new Firestone 600 x 16 NDT tires & tubes mounted on the correct rims & lugs.  The placards are original & complete.  The items missing are: 1 safety chain ( 1 still intact ), original tail lights, and 24 volt cable box ( brackets still intact on trailer ).  I purchased this trailer 14 years ago to convert into a utility trailer with cutout tailgate to pull behind my early Bronco, but decided it needed to be kept in its original condition and restored as a part of history.  If you need more close up scans, please let me know.  I live in the Cameron Park, Ca area in Northern California.  I am asking $ 1600 for the trailer.  Please feel free to call or email with additional questions.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800

(06/20/2016) Looks like a good price.

“1946 Bantam Trailer in good condition. Not very original anymore but much more functional.

Coupler changed to 2” ball. Custom work to fit into hitch like the original ones. New safety chains are long enough for modern tow vehicles. Right side tail light / turn signal added. Flat four trailer light connector. All lights work perfectly. Original landing gear leg missing. Bolt on trailer tongue jack with swivel wheel. Original data plate missing.

“Very rare 1947 Sears and Roebuck trailer. Perfect for Jeep owners or anyone with a small truck or car that needs more hauling capacity. Has Ford truck/Jeep lug pattern so you can put matching rims on it. Has drop downs like a commissary trailer. Bed is 46″ wide x 6′ long x 12″ high (inside measurements) and has a tailgate. Prior owners bought it in 1963 and used it for camping by putting side boards and a canvas tarp over it (support rods included). Comes with a new trailer light/wiring kit. Has heavy duty fenders that just need to be bolted back on. Has some rust but usable as is or do a full restoration. I was going to treat it Por15 rust stop and then plastic bed line it but figured I’d go ahead and sell it as is and let the new owner decide how to restore it.
