“For sale the ultimate early CJ5, CJ6, CJ2, commando and CJ3B combo an upgraded t90 transmission with a twin stick dana/ spicer transfer case, with a warn overdrive and a Ramsey pto . Also included are the parts to remove the pto. This is a great setup and was fully functional when removed. The guy I bought it from was doing a diesel swap in his cj6 and couldn’t use this setup. I was going to use the transfer case and overdrive in my cj5 but it turns out the t14 trans I have has a different spline count so I can’t use it. Looking to get 1000 obo or trade for a warn overdrive for a t14/ dana 18 or let me know what you have. This is a good price as the warn overdrive alone is new over a 1000 and 700+- used”

Eric forwarded this ad. The ad’s title notes the overdrive is a rare Dualmatic overdrive. Herm has rebuilt these in the past. I couldn’t say if he still does or not.

For several weeks we’ve been confused about this PTO. Brian wrote last night, “John from R&P 4WD finally figured out what it was. It is a very rare dana 20 front output PTO for cj5 built by Koenig. It is extremely heavy duty and very well built. This one looks to be in great shape, just dirty.”
Brian also has a model 100 winch. The PTO and winch would be $1400. He also has a recently rebuilt model 51j pto to go with the winch, for the guys with Dana 18 t case. Same price.”

This combo might be a good price.
“I’m selling a Dana 18 and TH350 Transmission out a 1954 Jeep Willys CJ3B project. Both pieces were supposedly rebuilt and installed prior to my purchasing and taking over the project. The Dana 18 has a Warn overdrive, both drive shaft yokes,, new torque convertor. and two crossmembers for mounting. I decided to go with a manual transmission set up and will no longer be needing the Dana 18 or TH350.”

According to an article from JP Magazine, the WAT was sold by Warn in 1969 and intended to slip between a T-18 and a transfer case. The writer of the article only remembered ever seeing one of them.
“The war in overdrive unit shift good and bolts between the T case and the transmission. I am asking 450 but open to offers. Was going to use in a Dodge pickup to get rid of the automatic but my plans have changed.”
I found this ad in the May, 1969, issue of Popular Mechanics.
Brian asked if I recognized this. I didn’t. After a few strokes of the keyboard, I discovered it might be a Ramsey PTO for a Dana 20 (http://www.jeeptech.com/winch/d20pto.html). Is it a Ramsey or something else?
