Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 1948 Jeep Willy Truck $4,000 Mitchell, SD
’48 Truck Project. I would leave the 350 don’t need the extra clutter around and do a nice small period correct V6, they look and perform really nice in these rigs.

1950 Jeep Willys Jeepster $9,995 Braintree, MA
Might be a Dealer Ad, I thought this was one from the Owls Head auction, but that was a ’49.
Photos are a little hazy, do not adjust your screen. Pro Tip clean your phone with one of those Lens Cloths prior, then AUTO adjust the phots prior to posting. At times they are fuzzy to conceal something, I don’t think that’s what’s going on here, it would help to have good photos of an “unrestored” rig,

Using old Willys Delivery Wagons for advertising never gets old. Pretty cool to see them out and about doing their thing, even if its just displaying the locations name.
Ran across this ad for a Jeep Farm Stand, but from the current posts they don’t need much help as they seem fairly popular and sold out over the weekend of their bakery goods.
Either way figure if you are in the Trion, GA area (NW Corner of GA) and follow this on FB you might be able to snag some baked goods and learn more about their early Willys Delivery.

9/11/01 Never Forget
Here are a couple of activities that are going on to commemorate 9/11/01 please take sometime if able to remember and reflect on the events of that day or learn about them if too young.
Also please remember the support of everyone pulling together afterwards in the weeks and months following was really amazing. The Service Members who volunteered in the decades that followed and the First Responders and Volunteers who have passed and many to this day are sick with many illness from the recovery efforts.

If you are not familar with this one please head over to their website and subscribe to a wonderful Willys / Jeep / All things accessory and unique to the period. The behind the scenes is just a ton of work, the quality of the historically accurate articles, publishing, layout, several eWillys easter eggs in this one as well like in the Comics!! (Not missed, are really apricated)

Willys Jeep NOS 1958 – 1964 Large Speedo Temperature Gauge
The years posted will get you in the right range, this should work for what I call the later Large 0-9 Speedo, will use a 15 – 73 Ohm Sender, it typically gets power from the Fuel Sender, you can bypass that internal Fuel sender with a external 5.5v source and dial in your gauges pretty nicely. But if stock this should be a direct fit.
This looks to be a great example of a NOS one.
Should be good for post “1957-1/2” on up CJ5, Willys Wagon, Willys Truck, FC150-FC170. Nice piece.
