About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Willys Jeep NOS 1958 – 1964 Large Speedo Temperature Gauge
The years posted will get you in the right range, this should work for what I call the later Large 0-9 Speedo, will use a 15 – 73 Ohm Sender, it typically gets power from the Fuel Sender, you can bypass that internal Fuel sender with a external 5.5v source and dial in your gauges pretty nicely. But if stock this should be a direct fit.
This looks to be a great example of a NOS one.
Should be good for post “1957-1/2” on up CJ5, Willys Wagon, Willys Truck, FC150-FC170. Nice piece.
Another cool AZ rig, awesome front bumper and winch set up! Could be a bit of a Salad here with some mix and match, wheels are just mixed rollers, those side view mirror brackets and arms looks legit, Green and White Patina. Has the bed steps which leads me to think it’s a bit of a Salad, I feel those maybe went away at some point. It says 40’s Willys body, but Grill Looks to be ’56, the bed steps way earlier then ’56 plus the patina on the bed is just different. If you climb under the rig the earlier beds have a different rear brace for the fuel tank, the newer ones have a brace that from the tailgate very rear brace to the next brace forward there is a brace front to back, and the tank was shifted to the Passenger side. The older tanks were all the way across the back and those don’t have that brace.
Plus look at all the other Rusty Gold in the yard, the bus, some other really cool looking rides.
I don’t know when this one was posted, but its still up and seller has a few other items on their page for sale, like some military rims, a tailgate, and some newer non Willys looking doors.
Looks interesting, one day I need to catch up on all these Hard Tops and what they are and the sort, values (we know how that works as much as someone is willing to pay, but I have posted some crazy ones that were $1500 down to $50, it’s a large range at times)
This looks like a legit decent Hard Top, feel free to drop some tips in the comments if these are stuff you like to see.
At $650 I’m thinking if I was local and in the market I’m going to swing by and take a look at this. How folks remove the posted date on these IDK either. That happens from time to time. If this was posted 2 years ago would be nice to know that.

Willys L HEAD and MORE – $2,000 Snohomish County, WA
Andy’s Picks
Good looking project
Information from seller:
Have a beautifully cleaned up and re-painted L HEAD that runs just as good as it looks. Does not smoke and we have video of it last time we had it running. It’s currently sitting in a cleaned and POR15’d rolling frame. Trans. and transfercase mounted and installed with engine. I believe the homemade dual exhaust adapter is still on it as well. Frame is ready for a body, which we have 2 of With Titles! (m38a1 and cj2a) also have several windshield frames, radiators, grilles. Quite a few parts are included at this price if wanted…..but this is the price for the engine in the frame….can consider the rest, free if ya wanna…. Serious inquiries only please.
Happy Fathers Day to everyone, here is a really nice CJ5 hope everyone has a great day!
1962 CJ5 Willys Jeep $8,500 OBO Burnt Hills, NY
Posted about 12 Weeks ago, this one may or may not be available, but I really like the look of this one with the top and the rear Winch is a beast! The overall look and color is really nice. The undercarriage for a NE Rig is not horrible, it needs some attention and work but 99.99% all will. They focused on the undercarriage in the photos.
The period correct rear light is also neat.
Speedometer looks like a Tuxedo Park with the chrome bezel, or my eyes are playing tricks on me, but its absolutely gorgeous example overall looks to be in great shape.
