About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Dealer listed, but it looks clean from the photos. I don’t think the price would scare me away from looking, no details really provided on the few photos, so would ask for a lot more prior to taking a wild road trip. On their website they have some really cool old iron, including an M725 with the 230 that sold.
There are a lot of interior bits that can be harder to come across in original form, there are repops of a lot of it, but like the arm rests and seats it looks mostly there.
Has some great patina, this one is worth a look.
Information from seller:
OBO
(Not much to go on there!)
Information from Tim:
1950 fits the mark, the top interior header has the round circles and it just looks correct to me for the full package, there is a back story here for sure someone needs to go figure it out for us and report back!
EXTERIOR
Grill, Front Bumper with Overrider, Rear Wrap Around, Splash Pan, tailgate looks great all the bits are there, lights looks legit on the rear just a simple license plate, very interesting it never got Tail Lights, that’s very intriguing to me, that its all there and the patina of everything, this has some serious potential for someone. Needs some work has rust.
INTERIOR
Gauges 0-8 Mantle Stye, has door echelons for push buttons, ash trays armrests, one seat missing one in the pics, hopefully its close by and maybe you find a hidden 7th Mother In Law seat with it! Never know till you go!
EDIT 5-4-25:(May the 4th be with you) Mike brought up some pretty basic stuff I missed and I totally agree, not a 1956. As he points out the ribbed roof makes this at least a ’59. In general I refrained from calling this a Maverick, just missing a few pictures to determine that. The Trim alone does not make it all Maverick, it has Maverick like trim, and then other pieces are just wrong for a Maverick. Cowl trim is wrong, and hood trim looks wrong, what little I can see. To further its not a 1956 Maverick the TV Show was on from September 1957 to July 1962. The trim package continued past those dates just not as a Maverick. The deciding factor for me at times is the title if the Title says 1956, when I walk up to DMV it’s a 1956 all day long. Just enough poor pictures to make one wonder, let’s contact them and go for a ride!
While the exterior is rough or ruff, the engine compartment still has quite a bit of stuff left in it, this could be a possible addition to an existing project for some parts.
Has Maverick trim around the windows, also provisions for the trim on the tailgate, kinda hard to make it all out in the pictures. But dash is missing the basket weave overlay, and looks repainted inside.
Make an offer, has some good parts here, and if you are a body and fender person get out those hammers and dollies. There is a lot here to go over:
This looks totally fixable and a great start to a project. And if your doing a repower the engine is already out!
TOO MUCH TO LIST.
Great Patina on the side doors with company name.

1953 Willys Wagon rust free body and rolling chassis project – $4,500 (Red Wing, MN)
Seller’s Description
I purchased this with the intentions of swapping the body onto a modern chassis. Unfortunately, I have come to the realization that I will not get to this project.
The body is very straight and clean for a 1953. Other than a little patina it is solid and rust free. It came from California and then Colorado. It was recently trailered here and then I purchased it. I have the title. If you know Willys, you know how rare a rust free wagon is. NO motor or trans. Rolls well and has good tires. Cash only. Bring a trailer. I will get more pictures tonight.
The original chassis was a 2 wheel drive. It would make great restoration candidate, rat rod, or resto-mod. no low ballers
