About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Andy spotted this fire truck for sale. Note that this truck has been for sale for awhile, but it never appeared in any of my searches (which is a problem FB listings have). I looked through Derek’s archives, but could not find this model. I’d guess it’s best described as a brush fire truck.
“1961 Willy’s Wagon body with clean Oregon title sitting on a late 80’s S15 Chevy Blazer frame. Original bare Willy’s frame included. No motor or trans installed but includes a rebuilt, low mileage Chevy 4.0 motor. WIlly’s is a rare barn door style panel van body but a previous owner cut side windows into rear panel area. Clean, straight, solid, 99% rust free body. This is a “project vehicle” ready for restoration. Delivery near or far available for a reasonable fee depending on distance”

I do not have more pictures and I am unable to get them due to not having immediate access.. if you want to see it you can make an appointment and my husband can meet you. Bought it as a project but I don’t have the time or money to put into it. Does not have an engine in it.. no title only bill of sale. I also bought an Diesel engine that has the transmission which I was going to adapt to the Jeep. But ended up not doing it. Selling separately Jeep selling for $3,500 Engine with transmission selling for $2,500”
“This is a original 1948 Willys (Jeep) Overland Panel van, a ex-flower delivery wagon that was restored in Las Vegas some 30 years ago. It is a solid metal truck with a huge 1968 289 Ford Mustangs engine and tranny with Edlebrock component ad ons. Auto-trans, no power steering or brakes. Never registered in the 17 years I’ve had it, the project is beyond Me now. NOT RUNNING. A real gear head who wants the twin side pipes roaring under his feet NEEDS THIS. Custom bed in back, removable with ease, all matching interior with a few extra parts and original California yellow plate to match front and back!”
“We have a 1948 flat fender Willy’s overland wagon. Has a rebuilt 4-71 hurricane engine. Column 3 speed, with the factory overdrive. Original Rearend , and Suspension. I put new KYB shocks all around, since we bought it.
We bought this Willys at an estate sale. The previous owner, own it for 40 years. He loved it, but unfortunately, he passed before getting the rebuilt engine running. It’s been sitting since 1997, undriven. I put all new brake shoes, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder. Has manual brakes. Brand new radiator and shroud. Decent paint, for its age. It is not running. Needs your expertise, This Willy’s comes with all new windows and rubber seals. A few more boxes of parts, and a new exhaust system, not installed yet. Light rust on front floors, solid vehicle, but has rust under the drivers door and below drain holes on sliding windows in back. Great flat fender, for you to put your spin on. We have a clean title on Non Op status
