About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“For sale 1960 FC 170 DRW. I bought this just the way it is. I got the 226 Super Hurricane unsiezed and I am starting the restoration. It has the add-a-wheel type dually setup that allows the same wheels to be used all around. This includes a clear TN title, and extra frame with an automatic transmission and transfer case.
The price will go up as more of it gets completed. I am updating my ad to show the progress to this point. I have all new gaskets for engine, hoses and belts, fuel tank with sending unit and line for the fuel and brakes, mounts for the engine and transfer case.
I ordered a windshield which should be here in a couple of weeks. I’ve got the engine cleaned up, painted and moving freely. I also cleaned up and painted some of the frame.”
(05/25/2019) Looks like a clean build. Note the windshield setup; looks well done.

“Posting a Pre 1954 Kaiser Willys Jeep for a friend. It has the 20” stretched wheelbase. All original 4 cylinder Hurricane engine and transmission. Everything works including lights etc. rebuilt front hubs. New fuel pump. New alternator. New starter. Message if you have any questions, or Text [hidden information] before 6pm.”
“1948 Willys CJ2a, total restoration (frame off). Every mechanical and electric system is new or rebuilt: steering, suspension, brakes, fuel, cooling and drive train. It has not been registered and used since the restoration was completed. The only conversion from original equipment is a dual reservoir master cylinder and dry element air filter. Please call with questions, but do not make an offer without looking at it. Clean title in hand. ”
“This is a very nice 1965 jeep FC 170. It has had some minor rust repair and although it is not a professional paint job, looks good and is a great driver. The odometer reads 49,400 miles which I believe to be correct. It has its original six cylinder engine with the original transmission and transfer case. Mechanically, it is in good condition and starts, stops, and drives as it should.
“This listing is for one Vintage EL JEBEL JEEP PATROL Denver Colorado License Plate Topper Attachment. It is in very good condition with original paint.”
Terry pointed out that the larger parking lights suggest this is more like a 1969. Per Colin, the “V4” engine is probably just a typo, as the V and F are near each other.
Here’s a really rare DJ-6 project at a good price.
“This is a very rare 2wd Jeep that has the original Hurricane V4 Engine. The starter is missing and it needs some wiring work done but the engine is not locked and should run. I was planning on slamming it to make it a one of a kind! Title has been lost but would not be hard to get one”
