(04/17/2020) Nice looking restoration. It has a few cool extras (Hickey winch and ventilating windshield). My only quibble is that I wish the rear dually fenders were rounded rather than angled.

(03/12/2020) This shows that the DJ-3A windshield for the Koenig hardtop also will fit the Meyer CJ-5 hardtop (in this case it’s a CJ-5 half-top). To me this adds weight to my theory that the Koenig hardtop used on DJ-3As should fit CJ-5s. This jeep also has a DJ-3A body (cut side type) and grille, at the very least.

“1946 Jeep Willy.
A project my husband realized he has no time for. It runs and he does drive it around once in awhile.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $5800.
Price dropped to $5800. Year changed to 1950. It lacks drain holes and a tailgate, so either this is an aftermarket body (fiberglass?) or its had work.
UPDATE: Still Available.
(09/11/2020) Unclear how much value is here.

“NO emails and my phone has NO texting. Not running for some years now.”
Mark shared this brief look at the Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles over the years (there were several others, including this 2011 wiener food truck). Of course, during the late 1950s, the company built a dog mobile atop an FC chassis. Perhaps, most surprising, is the latest version, one I hadn’t seen (I won’t ruin the surprise).

This Newgren field and pasture cultivator brochure is form N-168. It is the last of this series of color Newgren brochures that came with the jeep equipment book.
You never know when something obscure as this price list from February of 1949 will come in handy for someone. It’s a detailed look at the parts at the dealer pricing.
The driver sure looks young.
