About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This authentic well-kept piece of history can be yours. This 1942 WWII Willy CJ Ford Jeep is a classic and has been restored and garaged for the past 20 years. Runs great, the Willy straight four engine was completely overhauled, like new, full canvas package, full set of manuals and maintenance guides and receipts. To the best research I have been able to do, this jeep was used here in Sunriver, Bend at Camp Abbott 1942-1944. Lots of fun to drive and has been entered in several military vehicle displays and parades.”

“Pictured is a 1952 4X4 Willys CJ3A in very good condition I keep it inside and it comes with a Kaiser metal hard top. It is registered, insured and I drive it a few times a month. I just gave it a tune up: oil change, greased, plugs, plug wires, carburetor rebuild, rebuilt the cooling system (radiator professionally cleaned, repaired, painted), replaced cooling lines and replaced water pump and fuel pump. This jeep has the higher powered F134 engine in it out of a CJ3B.”

Below you’ll find Press Release Photos #11 & #13. The seller did not have #12, so at this point I’m left to guess what #12 was. My best guess is that given #11 shows a half top and #13 shows no top, that #12 may have been an image that included some version of the full top.
The original photo caption for the bottom photo would likely have been identical to #11 and #13’s captions, except that the last sentence probably read, “Here it is shown with both tops up“.
Photo #13 shows the jeep without a top:
Press Photo #14? Finally, there’s this photo which shows the windshield down. It could easily have been Photo #14 as it was taken in the same location, but I have no evidence such a photo was included in the press kit.
If this was actually included in the press kit at photo #14, the caption for the photo would likely have been identical to #11 and #13’s captions, except that the last sentence probably read, “Here it is shown with the windshield down“.
