About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1946 Willy’s CJ2A Original motor, Saginaw Steering, 11″ Drum brakes, Changed over to 12 volt, Runs and Drives but needs some brake work, brake cylinders are leaking from sitting. 4WD works fine, Top in very good condition.
Needs a new fuel tank! WOULD NEED TO BE TOWED!!
Family owned for nearly 50 years. $5000.00 OBO Make an offer, it can’t hurt to ask. Title is clear and in hand.”
If the top is in good enough shape, there’s definitely value here.
“Jeep ran when parked. This Willys Jeep has an aftermarket hard top, possibly by Kaiser. Jeep is complete and pictures tell the story. Obviously going to need a trailer to get it home, help loading might be available. All the parts you need for CJ 5 in a handy dandy Willys Jeep CJ5 package. Text or call with any questions or to set up a time to view this beautiful vehicle”

“1948 CJ2A. Actual mileage unknown, replacement speedo shows 16xx miles on odometer. L134 GoDevil 4 cyl engine.
Has 16xx miles or less on new brakes, tires, shocks, wheel bearings and seals, complete exhaust system, water pump, fuel pump, complete clutch assembly, 12v conversion, starter, alternator, electronic ignition. Fuel gauge worked before 12v conversion, have not replaced with 12v gauge. Replaced tranny that had 2nd gear issues with factory rebuilt tranny. Runs and drives great. Has governor but I am not running belt to it. Comes with old tranny, distributor, generator and 6v starter if wanted. Nice jeep, turns heads and gets a lot of “thumbs up”!”
“1946 willys Jeep in great shape runs good comes and a 1941 military surplus generator with a four cylinder Hercules motor runs but needs some work. $7500for Jeep $600 for generator”
UPDATE: Currently, the yellow CJ-2A is for sale for $7500. I don’t know if the red jeep was auctioned off or not on June 25th (see bottom pic). but clearly the yellow one did not sell at the auction.
This definitely has some rust. Thanks to Jordan for sharing this one.
“This Jeep has all original everything. It’d be a great project car, and is a sure head turner & conversation piece! It’ll need some restoration work as it’s been in a barn until recently. But imagine all the neat things that could be done with this one of a kind Jeep, & all the memories that you could make!”
The models covered in the pages below are the Koenig Standard Hardtops 530 Full and 53 Half for the CJ-5 and Models 630 Full and 535 Half with adapters No. 3863 for CJ-6 Jeeps.
