This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The CJ-5 is $1600, but I don’t see a price for the CJ-2A. Seller also has a CJ-3B body and a rough CJ-5 (brown). Seller would prefer to sell altogether.

“I have a 1946 Chassis and body that is a good start to complete a CJ2A. Motor turns over but I have never tried starting it. The body is original steel and was stored in a garage for 40 plus years. Color is a greenish yellow. It has a few panels which I would replace but is in very good condition, does NOT look like Swiss cheese. Chassis has complete drive train including axles, transmission, brakes and wheels. Tires are No Good. It was stored in Syracuse area for a number of years. It has a few gussets to front frame horns and rear V brace needs replacing. I looked for over 2 years to find these items and are the best I could find. Only reason I am selling is I have temporary storage but can’t keep there long term. I have an early flat fender parts vehicle that can be part of the deal.
I also have quite a few parts for various years and am willing to sell them as one lot. Don’t ask to buy individual parts etc. I have an offer to buy everything if I don’t sell as semi complete units.
I have a 1979 CJ5 also that needs extensive body work but frame and drive train are excellent. The 79 has NY title and it runs and drives with a temporary gas tank. I did not register it. The 79 has the 4.2 six cylinder motor. 1979 has good General AT2’s all around. 1979 is $1600 or best offer. I have a number of panels from Classic Industries for the 1979 that will go with it.
I prefer text messages and I don’t answer my phone till after 6:30 PM Mondays, Tues. and Wed. but I will look at your texts.”
