This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is a Hunter Manufacturing 20K BTU Military Cab heater. It came equipped on a restored M38 I recently purchased, and I don’t really need heat in a topless Jeep. Working and in like NOS condition. Uses engine coolant to produce heat, electrical to run the blower fan – 2 speeds Hi/Low. Includes the switch, resistor and a small Douglas connector wiring harness. These were commonly used on M151 MUTTs but can also be used for 5 Tons, M37s, M38s, M38A1… anything with a 24V system. $100 Firm”
