About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This flat fender Jeep was born as a post-World War ll 1952 Willy’s M38 military Jeep. At some point in its life it received an all-aluminum Buick V8 (215 CID), fiberglass fenders and hood, Rancho freedom rider lift, 31×10.5×15 tires, Con-Ferr shackles, full cage, unique diamond plate type rear wrap, steps, and dash. It still has the stock transmission and transfer case with PTO. PTO winch is included. Stock axle assemblies, I do not know the gear ratios or if it has lockers/LSDs; however, it does have factory axle tags for LSD fluid required. Continue reading →

I took all of Monday off; I didn’t even look at email (a rarity). So, of course on Sunday evening a large email arrived after I finished working that gummed up my email system, causing me to lose all of Late Sunday night’s, all of Monday’s, and some early morning Tuesday’s emails.
So, if you sent me an email, please resend (and if you are sending large files, please send to d@deilers.com). Thanks.

“You are looking at a Custom Jeep Willys. This Jeep has been built from the Ground up. Frame is a 1950’s cj5 willys that was stripped down and painted with all new springs, and hardware. Only thing that’s original Willys is the Frame, Hood, Fenders, and Grill. It Has a fiberglass body which has been bed lined inside and out and reinforced. This is a show stopper that gets a lot of attention! The drivetrain is a 1990 302 Mustang motor that had 90k on it before being installed. The following is all brand new when its was built: alternator, water pump, edelbrock intake, timing chain, edelbrock 650 carb, new ignition, headers, x pipe, magnaflow exhaust, radiator, starter, and much more.
Transmission is a rebuilt Ford C4 3spd with a 4500 stall converter, shift kit, and B&M hammer shifter. Jeep has manual brakes with disc in the front and drum on the rear. Steering is also manual but has brand new steering box (very easy to steer). Rear end is a Chevy 10 bolt. Jeep is Rear wheel drive only, no room for the 4wd. Fun to drive to shows and parades. Has a hidden stereo with kicker speakers front and back. Runs and drives great but could use just some tuning to make it perfect and little odds and ends. I have been driving it to shows and parades and it has been running perfect. Jeep is registered as a 1981 CJ7”
