About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Sitting in the barn for the past 20 years. Rolled out to get something off shelf and figured I would take pictures and list it. Needs minor work as you would expect form sitting for years (master and wheel cylinders, battery). Old vehicle with pretty much all original parts (except locking hubs, signals with dual brake lights). Price is firm and as is.
Was listed as 44, someone pointed out that it is a 43, sorry.”
“1986 Jeep Wagoneer Limited 79,500 original miles. Excellent condition (minus a couple dents and bruises, hence the severely reduced price)
**suffered minor accident damage that does not effect ride or drive quality, goes down the road straight at hi-way speeds.**
It’s fun to drive and always gets friendly honks and waves from Jeep aficionados. The 4×4 works excellent! Overall, this Jeep is in very good condition for its age, but not perfect. Cosmetically, this Jeep is pretty much intact – which, if you’ve looked for these, is very hard to find in VT with ZERO rust. All of the original moldings are still attached, and the original woodgrain stickers are still in very good condition. All power options work: power windows, locks, mirrors, driver and passenger power seats. Transmission shifts as it should with no issues, and the 4×4 system works great. This could be an excellent daily driver in its current condition, for someone who wants a unique and capable off-roader, or complete the paint and exterior work and make it a true collectors car. “1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A. 63,000 miles. Very straight and original with a canvas top and doors. Upgraded 12 volt system…. Fires up easily, idles nicely, and shifts with accuracy. The chassis remains exceptionally clean..”
“Jeep model CJ3A. This is the one with more leg room, completely original, steering, motor…..ALL original. Has been painted one time, runs and drives good, breaks work, ready to drive home, except glass is missing on windshield. Tires are good.”
“I’ll start this description with that this Jeep is a project and will require a rebuild / restoration to make this vehicle street worthy.
* CJ2A motor that runs pretty well with good oil pressure.
* T84 transmission that does work, But doesn’t go into first gear every time you try. Definitely has wear.
* Shifts in and out of 4 wheel drive fine.
The body is rough, no doubt about it. There is lots of body filler all over. The pictures tell all.
The frame is broken to the rear of the rear spring shackles on both sides, shown in the photos. Can be repaired.
“A 47 Willy’s tub forsale with a t90 trans connected to a Dana 18 transfer case
Would work good for a mud truck body or trail rig
I have information from the farm I got it from, I lost interest in the project and build a different mud truck
Trades welcome, would be interested in a snowmobile”
