Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Willy’s Jeep with too much to list but I will try, 3.8 ford V-6 aluminum heads (extra motor), auto Transmission, extra transfer case complete. upgraded everything, extra wide custom front window flat class, upgraded axes, on board air compressor, holding tank, winch, off road lights, family roll cage, new top for jeep still in box, (old top- if out and wheeling);

“1953 CJ3B Willy’s complete with transferable registration. Does not run trans is stuck in gear. Frame is solid tub is very solid considering being in ny a few small pin holes in the floor boards and a spot between the seats a little bit on the side. Comes with 540 PTO accessory”

(01/30/2019) This might have an early set of Free-Lock hubs, but I can’t say for sure. Includes a half cab, though the rear glass is broken.

Frank shared this pic of instructions that accompanied his 1961 wagon.
He wrote, “Thought you might find this interesting. It is the sleeve that came on the visor of my 61 Wagon. When I bought it it had 32,000 miles and now 42,000. The jack was wrapped in a newspaper dated 1961.”
